Bumper Removal And Grill Replacement-2019 Volvo S60

The original grill on my Volvo S60 had some damage, so I found a replacement from an R-design that I installed. To do this, I removed the front bumper, inspected it for damage, and discovered the sad truth about the factory fog light wiring.

Back again… the r-designs & polestars were the only trim levels that gave the s60s the programming for the fog lights. Since I have an r-design mine came with the fog lights already in, but you might be able to solve this issue with the polestar engineering software upgrade. It’s a dealer upgrade (you can’t get them online & installed by yourself), I’ve been quoted at $1,800 at my dealer for it but am considering getting it done since it massively increases your torque and improves handling

My local dealer doesn't offer the polestar upgrade. Even then, I would need to add the wires to the fuse box or ecu, wherever they go to since they are missing past the bumper harness.

That's the grill that comes with the R design. A video on transmission fluid service will be great. FCP euro sells liqui Molly specific oil for this cars. They eat a lot of breakpads specially rear. There's not a lot of videos of this newer Volvos.

The moisture in your headlight is not normal for these… most likely a seal in the light is broken and needs to be replaced. Also great choice on the grille! I have a 2019 r-design and I have been told by mechanics & other Volvo owners that these grilles help prevent debris from getting through and hitting your radiator, which is expensive to replace in these cars

I wish they made a better option for the lower grill that protects the front mounted intercooler..

There is a lower shield that has 7 t25 screws holding it to the bumper across the bottom. Pull those, and you can lift it enough to reach the sensors.
