Poor Mei Xiang!! Her baby boy has no idea how big he is. Can you imagine 150+pounds standing on your back? He’s so cute in the pool and you’re right. He doesn’t like water in his ears. The way they play together. I truly believe that Cheej thinks he ia getting the better of Momma Mei. All she has to do is push a little with her paw or head and he is sliding away from her. The nursing is always so special. He looks so big now getting Mei' s milkies. He was ridiculously cute in the pond. He does not like getting his ears wet for sure. Their fur acts like a sponge. He gets out of that pond and it looks like he is taking half the water with him . Mei told him what she thought of him getting water everywhere. He was really moving after getting out of the pool until he just had to stop and do yet another door inspection. Was so adorable and peaceful seeing them both asleep at the end. OMG I was here in DC and tacked on an extra day to go see the Royals. I saw all of this up close and personal. When they were wrestling and Mei would get the best of Qi Ji he would do a little bark. It’s the cutest thing to hear. They are so magnificent to see in person. I’m awe struck when I get to go in person. When I left around 4 they were both sleep. This video captures the highlights of their day perfectly.
I love watching Mei barrel roll down the hill in the salad patch, she’s been full of spunk & energy.. Qi Ji’s keeping Mama young! He was beyond adorable in the pool playing with the balls, with those skills he could try out for the Olympic water polo team. Although Mei was none too impressed with his antics. A busy day was had as things wrapped up with two tuckered out Pandas. Thanks Doxie!
Our little miracle panda splashing around in his pool. An overload of "aqua panda" cuteness! Just the video I needed to see today Doxie! Loved it at the end where Mei seemed to be saying "what are you doing, you are making a mess with water all over the floor" to her little boy. Well, at least that is my best panda to english translation! She sure seemed to have that "Mom tone" going on. Then it was nap time for Mama Mei and her messy little boy! 😃 Thanks Doxie!

DoxieMom another awesome video, everything had me smiling and laughing. The pool scene with the balls was adorable. I love his feet splashing in the water. He looks like a human toddler playing in the water. It was great to hear the splashes. Mei really told her chubby wubby ( that is what my students call him) that she was not happy with all the water he brought with him when he took his exit, he ran so fast. Delightful video!

Every time our Qi Ji romps in his pool, I swim in joy & drink love. The water gives him permission to be as silly as he could and the power to claim more room in our hearts. No separation last night, (nor has the process started). Lately Mei has been sleeping off camera, usually in the bedroom, or at the den doorway I suspect. And thank you ~ we've been given a gift being able to watch Qi Ji with Mei for nearly 2 years now!

I remember way back when Qi Ji was small, Mei would climb the rocks to get some water for a little piece because he couldn’t yet. 🐼💖
