I have not been there yet, but this was a really good video as I've been watching tons of videos on Istanbul. And this one oriented me to how the Galata bridge is. And to Istikal Street. It looks very safe. Fun too. And of course the cats.

I imagine the slower you travel the cheaper it is since you get a better deal on accomodations also you learn over time the cheaper local spots to shop/eat. Do you always use AIRBNB or do you have a technique for finding affordable places to stay?

Mostly AirBnB. You often get a very significant discount for monthly rentals (sometimes over 50%), but you definitely need to look around. So far it has worked out well, but it is taking a chance if you don't rent a good place - we stick to super hosts with multiple reviews, and it has been really good.

The infrastructure was great. And Turkey as a whole is very clean, imo. We will cover this (and more) in the near future in our "Retire in Istanbul?" video in the next month or so. Thanks for watching!

There is graffiti all across Europe - Turkey really has the least we have seen. But yes, Istanbul does have some unsightly graffiti, for sure. Thanks for watching!
