Toyota Accessory - Touch Keypad System

In this video, Jessica Corley demonstrate a new Toyota accessory, the Touch Keypad Entry System. The Touch Keypad installs on the driver's side of the windshield and can be used to lock and unlock the vehicle, even when you don't have your keys. You can also lock your smart key inside the vehicle using the Touch Keypad System. This kit works on most Toyota models, see dealer for details.

I'm having the trouble of my car alarm going off every time I unlock the keypad, despite the fact that it goes ahead and unlocks the door. The only way to turn it off is to grab my keys, which defeats the whole purpose of the keyless entry! Is there a way to disable the car alarm?

Would this work on an older Toyota? I have a 2006 Tacoma, but obviously it doesn't have a smart key, so I wasn't sure. Also, if it does work, how much does it cost?

How to re install this keypad if a windshield has to be replaced? There are 0 information regarding this on the internet. My camry came with it but dealer has no idea since i have cracked windshield that needs to be replaced.

There are additional adhesive mounting strips available from Toyota. If your dealer can't locate them, feel free to call our service department at 337 419 2993

Completely false and inaccurate. We offer this accessory to people who already own their vehicle and it doesn't inhibit visibility in the least. Thanks for watching.
