i own a 2003 rotax supercharged gtx and i’ve only ever had normal salt water issues, rotax makes an incredibly reliable engine and some of the highest output performance seadoo ever offered, not to mention this is a strictly salt water ski for almost 20 years still in perfect shape i mean paint and everything and it’s been abused like crazy, to think it looks and performs like new is insane, he’s gonna have a blast on that forever, also love seeing a smaller channel that’s so professional, y’all r gonna make it, good luck u earned a sub
I’m sure he will and thank you Danny I really appreciate it! 🤙 also, I have a question the previous people ran ethanol free gas in it. How important is it that we run ethanol free gas as well. Right now he’s having a rectifier problem but we were thinking maybe it could’ve been some thing with non-ethanol gas being in the tank from us. Just wanted to see what you thought and use. 👍
Hello, I am one of the proud owners of the 1996 GSX Sea-Doo the same as the one that you have, but that one was in the race that was the first couple racer jet skis no matters to be worse. The jet ski that jet ski is the best. I love that thing. It is crazy fast, but make sure to be careful on it. It might take a couple minutes to start it because how old it is and be fragile with it because how cool it is and fast it is so thank you you guys are the best. And tell me if you need some help.
Fun skis, I have a red 97 GSX. Mine loves to take on water if you're floating it for more than a day, which we do on holiday weekends when I dont have access to a lift (and too lazy to take it out each day). Wonder if it is a common problem with the GSX since this one had a bilge pump added. Might have to do that to mine!
Yeah, his was taking on water and his bilge pump is self actuated so it would randomly kick on when it got to a certain level and spit the water out. It was leaking in from his trim motor so there’s probably a bad seal that got old there. We haven’t taken it apart to look at it yet.
@@justinstraub698 thanks for the extra info on it! Come to think of it my trim motor is all rusted to heck (and never has worked) so it's probably leaking there too. Mine also had holes from the traction mats that weren't plugged when the previous owner put hydroturf over it (and didn't seal that right). Keeps you busy with these old skis but it's fun.
yooooo i picked up the exact same ski a month ago. went through the whole thing and it rips now!!! its mint too everything is still shining on it!! they're fun skis especially with the trim! i need to get a bilge for mine i flipped it a couple times and it got pretty full with water
