Great work mate and thanks for your advice and video looking forward for many more. I'm just starting out and and find your technique to be very helpful, a little bit nervous about heading outside. What size engine is suitable? I have a 30hp outboard and 4.0 Mt centre console tinnie is this suitable for such an event
100% it is haha i go outside in a 3m polycraft tuffy with a 15hp. handles fine

What reef? Are you Sydney Harbour or Pittwater base? Giving some GPS coordinates?
Reef is called merries reef off cronulla popular spot to target snapper will be easy to find coordinates
