    Have you been wondering why all of a sudden when you are doing a workout or any other physical activity you begin to feel really dizzy and weak? This is most likely because you are dehydrated or because you are in a desperate need of some electrolytes. In this video im gonna explain how to stay hydrated for optimal sport performance and how to effectively replenish your electrolytes using various methods. I will also about the PRIME hydration drink made by Logal Paul and KSI and discuss whether it is an effective drink for hydration or not. And everything is in a simplified way so you will easily understand everything!

    Also wanna bring up how important heat is as well.
    One day I made the dumbass decision to work out in my garage home gym during a summer heatwave (because I didnt wanna skip a day lol)
    Im normally very hydrated but I did this session after waking up and only downing one tall glass of water.
    I finished the workout, but a few hours later I started feeling faint with a crazy headache. I basically gave myself heat exhaustion, a step away from a dangerous heat stroke 😅 took days to recover.
    So apart from staying EXTRA hydrated in the summer, pay attention to extreme temperatures as well for safety!

    Also have a banana for electrolyte replenishment, to supply you with potassium as well as magnesium. Other than that just add a bit of salt (about 1/10 of a teaspoon) in your bottle of water for sodium supply.
    This way you get sodium, potassium and magnesium.

    If you drink water with some salt, my tips is to add a bit of lemon juice and sugar/syrup (like grenadine) to neutralize the tast of salt 😊

    Trainer Winny, I have two questions.
    I wake up at 6-6:30am and workout from 7am. Due to time constraints I cannot eat anything before working out. I just drink warm water and mix salt and sugar in my gym bottle and take it with me.
    I am ~55kg body weight so is it ok to exercise empty stomach?
    Also my second question is:
    I consume 4whole scrambled eggs with butter after coming from gym but I have some stomach issues and due to the heat wave here, consuming eggs everyday becomes hard. I don't take whey protein because of budget reasons. Is there any other post workout protein rich drink/food you want to suggest me?
    Thank you so much for all the videos

    • @bambik06
      @bambik06 10 місяців тому +1

      don't train on empty stomach no matter if you are 50 or 100kg. workout in the afternoon ~2 hours after big meal if it's possible. if not, at least eat a banana in the morning.

    • @trainerwinny
      @trainerwinny  10 місяців тому +11

      Hey, training on an empty stomach is not like the best thing, but your body will still use the nutrients that you had in the evening the day before, so you should most likely have dinner with a high amount of protein and decent amount of carbs, so your body has nutrients ready for when you go work out in the morning, but getting in some carbs in before you go workout would a be a good idea, like the guy who responded to your comment suggested, atleast a banana would be a good idea.
      And for the post workout meal, if you only eat eggs and butter, you should also include some carbs, that might be why you are having stomach issues. Some easy and cheap protein sources can be like milk, cottage cheese, greek yoghurt, canned tuna or any other type of meat, that you can prepare days in advance to save time.
      I hope this helped!
