Have you been wondering why all of a sudden when you are doing a workout or any other physical activity you begin to feel really dizzy and weak? This is most likely because you are dehydrated or because you are in a desperate need of some electrolytes. In this video im gonna explain how to stay hydrated for optimal sport performance and how to effectively replenish your electrolytes using various methods. I will also about the PRIME hydration drink made by Logal Paul and KSI and discuss whether it is an effective drink for hydration or not. And everything is in a simplified way so you will easily understand everything!

Bro literally teaches me shit I’ll use for the rest of my life in 5 minutes. W UA-camr
Medical professional here. If you’re drinking water when you’re thirsty, that means you’re already dehydrated. Drink before you become thirsty
Bro pls make a video about progressive overload with examples, watched all your videos, it was very much informative. ❤
Thanks, yes i got it on my bucket list!
Also wanna bring up how important heat is as well.
One day I made the dumbass decision to work out in my garage home gym during a summer heatwave (because I didnt wanna skip a day lol)
Im normally very hydrated but I did this session after waking up and only downing one tall glass of water.
I finished the workout, but a few hours later I started feeling faint with a crazy headache. I basically gave myself heat exhaustion, a step away from a dangerous heat stroke 😅 took days to recover.
So apart from staying EXTRA hydrated in the summer, pay attention to extreme temperatures as well for safety!
love this comment, had a similar experience while running on one of the hottest days of the summer, almost passed out in the middle of my neighborhood 😅
BRO I LOVE YOUR ACCENT😂
You are so underated for the quality of your work you deserve a million subs🙌
Thank you!
Bro, i watched like 3 or 4 hours of MPMD from derek to be able to understand this topic, now witg 5 minutes you give me everything i need + some effective solutions.
Thanks alot.
For me i try to make my food more salty, and consume 500g of sweet potato daily for potassium.
Also have a banana for electrolyte replenishment, to supply you with potassium as well as magnesium. Other than that just add a bit of salt (about 1/10 of a teaspoon) in your bottle of water for sodium supply.
This way you get sodium, potassium and magnesium.
you don't really need that stuff- you can just drink stuff homemade lemonade or smthn that replenishes you in between your workouts..
@@devsafai766so water, sugar, lemon? Sounds very electrolyte rich
/s
@@____________838 the sugar is not necessary
I personally switched to buying powdered Propel packets. Only $3.48 for 10 servings with each serving only 0-5 calories and having 200-220 sodium and other good stuff as well. Good to know salt is the most important one though Winny 👍

I love these videos winny, they're entertaining while being educational and i like to watch them while doing my 150 minutes of moderate intensity cardio :)
If you drink water with some salt, my tips is to add a bit of lemon juice and sugar/syrup (like grenadine) to neutralize the tast of salt 😊
nah the salt is tasty af when you get used to it you will never want to drink normal freshwater again.
keep up the work, your videos are very good, if you can do one about lean bulk/bulking that would be great
underrated channel. keep it up
Thank you!
Thank you!
That's why I always drink water, thanks for the video and recommendations trainer winny
Amazing video
Good Vid bro!
Thanks!
I'm one of those very very sweaty individuals. If i wear the shirt with buttons i sweat like a fountain. And another thing that imo is good to know is to get enough magnesium witch the vast majority of people don't. It's also an electrolyte that helps a lot.
any chance on getting a video on injury prevention and how to assess if profesional help is needed?
Great video!
I make my own electrolyte drink with 2 pinches of salt, lemon juice and a little bit of honey if it fits my macros for the day
Thanks, way to go!
Amazing video!
Thanks!
thanks mane
I love the thumbnail ❤️🙃
Thanks, i keep getting better!

About sweating, i have heard that if you were in a hot climate during your early years (0-2), you will sweat more for your entire life. (sweating is both genetic and epigenetic). Is there any truth to these claims ?
Nice, gotta order some gallons of Vytautas Mineral Water now!
Do you think you’d make a video on stretching?
Pretty good idea
Yes eventually, but i dont think its gonna be anytime soon tho
Trainer Winny, I have two questions.
I wake up at 6-6:30am and workout from 7am. Due to time constraints I cannot eat anything before working out. I just drink warm water and mix salt and sugar in my gym bottle and take it with me.
I am ~55kg body weight so is it ok to exercise empty stomach?
Also my second question is:
I consume 4whole scrambled eggs with butter after coming from gym but I have some stomach issues and due to the heat wave here, consuming eggs everyday becomes hard. I don't take whey protein because of budget reasons. Is there any other post workout protein rich drink/food you want to suggest me?
Thank you so much for all the videos
don't train on empty stomach no matter if you are 50 or 100kg. workout in the afternoon ~2 hours after big meal if it's possible. if not, at least eat a banana in the morning.
Hey, training on an empty stomach is not like the best thing, but your body will still use the nutrients that you had in the evening the day before, so you should most likely have dinner with a high amount of protein and decent amount of carbs, so your body has nutrients ready for when you go work out in the morning, but getting in some carbs in before you go workout would a be a good idea, like the guy who responded to your comment suggested, atleast a banana would be a good idea.
And for the post workout meal, if you only eat eggs and butter, you should also include some carbs, that might be why you are having stomach issues. Some easy and cheap protein sources can be like milk, cottage cheese, greek yoghurt, canned tuna or any other type of meat, that you can prepare days in advance to save time.
I hope this helped!
@@bambik06 thank you so much brother!!
@@trainerwinny yes that helped a lot!!
Periodisation video plz ❤
I think this might be the thing you are looking for ua-cam.com/video/cGbdkBuSHdg/v-deo.html
i do salt and magnesium in my bottle and fill it up with water in the gym
Did i really except anything other than "you should drink" from this video? 😂
I like this guy, he speaks clear

Take a half multivitamin 2hrs before. Keep a tiny jar of celtic sea salt topped up in your gym bag.
Badabing.
salty water is hydrating? then whats wrong with ocean or sea salt waters?
Too much salt content in ocean water i think
As a 1.91 - 102 kg person in a Mediterranean country, genetically sweating excessively, who starts fitness in the summer months, I cannot stop my thirst despite drinking 7-8 liters of water a day PLEASE HELP I cannot cool my body temperature after workouts :(
You said svet and I thought it was a sponsor lol (I’m stupid dw lol)
santa cruz paleo electrolytes is key, so much better than gatorade and all its bs ingredients.
Electrolytes are what plants crave.
If you want a 0 calorie solution, pickles are great
Everytime between reps i take a drink. If running i drink while running
Also i use biosteel as my sports drink of choice
No audio
There is
have you tried turning your sound on mate?
Bro forgot to use ears
My bad.. problem on my device 😢
gentle reminder logan paul only releases scams and never products worthy of your hard earned money
rich boy stealing from ordinary people, how classic
Bro can you give suggestion for max protein intake for veg ppl. (Veg people: we dont eat eggs or any meat but we consume other dairy products like milk curd and cheese)
The sources should provide all essential amino acids
whey has all the aminos. whey = milk
nimai delgado (ex ifbpro bodybuilder ) consumes around 150G per day and i think he is around 80-85 kilos , also he trains 5-6 times per week
If you consume dairy products then go for stuff like milk and cottage cheese, then you can go for different legumes like beans and lentils and even some soy products like tofu, but the plant based proteins are never gonna be as good as the meat/dairy ones atleast imho
@@trainerwinny thank you so much bro
4:46 Brother please, for us it was 42°C during this summer ☠️
aint no way you go workotu at 42°C 💀
@@trainerwinny ik it's unbelievable, only in Algeria 🙃
@@mohamedlamar0406 well, i hope your gym atleast has some air conditioning lol
@@trainerwinny my gym opens up at 4pm, so the heat wont be that strong as at 1 or 2pm
My coach said: "well it should remind you of the hellfire son, so think twice before you do the woohoo" XD
This might sound dumb but can you just down a handful of salt?
Not all at once tho
A handful is a crazy high amount. Something like a teaspoon is more than enough. And you need to drink some water afterwards to actually hydrate yourself.
Water bottle reveal please, then muscle reveal.
And remember that not all sugar-free drinks aren't healthy. Avoid aspartame and acesulfame potassium and prefer drinks that contain, for example, steviol glycosides.
Powdered hydration drinks are super underrated
I love geting hydrated especialy in japanise forests 🫥☠️
haha, thats where its at
