We have been to see stomp several times. Their routines never get old. Love it! We love the comedy. Two hours of non stop fun. It flies by so quick , it doesn't seem like two hours.
They do basically the same thing every time but it never gets old. We would like to see them again. I think the best part of the show is the comedy and the 55 gallon drums on the guys feet.
Stomp is an awesome experience live! I highly recommend checking it out. In a city of sin, it’s one of several family friendly things you can go to. I think it was early 90’s when I saw them in OKC. I am curious though, is the music all on stage or are they using a track? There was just a few times it looked like the drummer and the sound where out of sequence. I’m not hating at all, I totally can see the work but I also know that humans make mistakes sometimes and that this 2 hour show is like watching a percussion ballet on stage. Both which require a huge amount of training and dedication. That’s a load of energy being extruded for that 2 hours. Regardless it’s a great show!
The call was for dancers with percussive skills or percussionists that move well. Some of us had no training n were just lucky to pick it up. Personality also plays a huge part
Yeah, this was 2009, when people still used dv tapes. Tape ran out during newspapers, then whoever was recording, only recorded bits of the numbers, so unfortunately there is no complete version of the show! We were hoping the creators would do a professional recording but they never got around to it.
I thoroughly enjoyed the pieces of the performance that were included in this video. However, I was disappointed in the way the camera work was handled, even more so as we got closer to the end.
This is an actual video from the last show in Las Vegas 10 years ago. The Las Vegas show was different from the "normal" STOMP show in that there were 16 performers instead of the usual 8.

So amazing. As a kit drummer since 1962, I have enjoyed this group since their inception.
There were enough drummers in the audience when I went, about 25 years back, for the beat patterns to come to us and back again.
This is the best sound drama, sound farce in the world theater: where the theme acquires its sound image.
I must say, this version of STOMP needs to make a huge comeback.
I agree
Who said you need drums ?
THIS IS Incredible !
Love it !
WOW !
Po prostu świetne, można oglądać, słuchać........i......

32:30 - Everything and the kitchen sink. Who knew it applied to percussion? And so well?
MY FAV!!!
funny and very good
ever wonder if they were dancers first or percussionists
Both perhaps ;-)
shailea stargazer isn't that a little like the chicken and the egg? lol
I'm willing to bet they were percussionists first and then they became dancers afterwards.
Both or neither! The creators cast personalities and sometimes these personalities have no drumming or dancing background. I was a drummer.

This is priceless!!
Are they in Las Vegas? I would like to experience them first hand.

Well, it's not an official video and was likely illegal. But, hey, it's free.

Старый состав у них был интереснее. В этом новом юмора не хватает. Номер с газетами не о чём получился
Sad to see them hang it up this year
