Hey Andy, great review. I think you did an outstanding job, very professional. Ignore the nay sayers that want to belittle how you do your review. It's your review, do it the way you want to. It is not your job to tell people the laws on riding these bikes. If people want to buy one, then it's their job to know the laws for the bike. You're just doing a review telling what you think of the bike. You are not selling the e-bike so don't listen to people who say you need to do it their way. Do it your way the way you want to do it, it's your channel and it's your review. No need to tell the laws that's not your job. Thank you for an awesome review and for the hard work and time you put into this video. Stay Awesome and please don't change anything You're doing just great the way you're doing it. GOD BLESS YOU
Love the new channel Andy. Would love to see a video about e-bike maintenance. I have an e-bike now but I’m clueless as to what I should be doing on the regular to keep it ticking along nicely.
I So farhave the first Fiido T1 and have not had any issues with it at all. I did change the seat. To lower me a little more. I,m short. I was told that they changed the motor from a 750 to a 250. I here that some riders say they lost power. I like my T1. I just need to get some mrror,s so I can see behind me. Other than that. So far so good. Like your channel and keep up the good work.
A pacey, informative review to launch this channel. Great! It would be good to have an episode about the weird UK e-bike regs which we could refer to as needed. Thanks, Andy!
My granny would rock that shit full tilt no cap. Andy your freaking awesome my friend. Your a wonderful man Andy. Keep up the good work. My Mom & myself absolutely adore you. Camping, bushcrafting, canoeing with Simon or even E-biking we are behind you 💯%
Great new channel andy you know what e bikes are going to be massive especially for camping.makes such a difference for the older person as you say there great fun.well done for being in at the begining of tje ebike explosion
Congrats on the new channel Andy, wishing you future success. Ive been looking at folding bikes to go car camping and do forest trails, looking forward to all your reviews.
Am a new subscriber here Andy (30th May) and i am really loving your new studio, it's fabulous mate!! Looking forward to your content here as well as your other channels, you will be enjoying yourself to the max testing new e-bikes, new camping equipment and finding new camping spots, am very excited for you. Take care and all the best. Regards, Neil.😅
Hi Andy, nice video review, thank you. However, you did not mention the cost of the bike! I think mentioning costs would be useful, not only for the bike, but also for any accessories that are added to the bike or used, eg: racks, mudguards, etc, which are not standard. Good luck with the new channel. I hope you also still continue with the bushcraft / camping vids too. I have an Eskute ebike (polluno model) and its great fun and a good bike if a little heavy. They are at the cheaper end of the market, would be interesting to see your opinion on them? Cheers
Good review. Making me consider buying one for myself. My only criticism is no link to the company in the description. Other than that, perfect. Keep up the good work. Currently riding a Nakto Camel that basically does everything that this bike does but does not have the bulky tires or battery. Considering that I live is a smallish town in the Midwest (USA), it does what I need it to do in town. HOWEVER, this Fiido would allow me to take longer trips for camping and trail rides. And at the time of this comment, the Fiido T1 Pro is on sale for 1K$ (790 sterling for ya brits). Time for me to start saving. ;)
congratulations on your new channel, very good in depth review. Could you please give a bit more info on what the uk rules for legality mean to these bikes, speeds, do you have to peddle constantly not having the use of a throttle in the uk and last but not least. A ball park figure on prices for the bike your reviewing would be great. They do look like fun to play with but do the laws in the uk spoil that fun too much. Look forward to your next review Andy
Fab vid on a fab new channel, bought one of these on seeing your previous vid, very pleased with it, can't get more than 15mph 25kph even on full throttle so perfectly legal in UK. Keep on trukkin' Dude!
Hi, I've watched lots of reviews on this bike but after watching your one I've decided to buy it so well done mate really good video. Me and my son just watched it and we were both in agreement it was the best video review on this bike so very much appreciated. Thanks 👌
More bike specs would help, like ebike class, max speed ratings, battery capacity and range. I know some higher end ebikes have ratings that are not street legal (at least in the US), including ones that will go like 50MPH (or 80KPH) in off road performance mode.
Andy, I've been with you since you were just a novice UA-camr and WOW, you have grown, both in your Channel and quality of uploads, but your personal growth is spectacular. Youve done a super job narrating and sharing information during reviews. Congratulations! Much luck and I'll be here to ride along too!!
This bike is a brilliant concept but really needs a mid mount motor, hub motors take to much strain which ain't good for it... mid mount motors will benefit the gears given on that cycle for a longer service and range... I was so going to buy one up until this point I had done research for..
Great job on new channel. Subbed and liked. If in future episodes you could maybe mention the type of gear you use, like saddle bags, that would be also very helpful. Thank You and God Bless your kindness and endeavors.
Love ya Kent! Followed you here from your camping channel. US viewer here, can’t wait to see your e-bike reviews. I got a Super73 R series myself and would love to know what you think of those bikes. I adore it and it has a fairly large moding community as well.
Nice review, very thorough. You and Simon are convincing me that I need a T1 Pro. BUT, you knew the "but" was coming. I am a bit hesitant because of the $650 usd battery replacement cost. Can you tell me who makes the battery for the T1 Pro? Thanks.
Nice bike, I remember it from your camp video :) It would be good to know more about the legality of the bikes you test on public roads and in general, I was under the impression that "twist and go" are not road legal in the UK. Also, I really would like to see some stress tests with these types of bikes, up steep hills, through sloppy mud and long distance, etc, etc. Thanks for the video, I'll be subscribing :)
Thanks for the feedback ben.. definitely a few things to co sidereal there! Yes, they keep tightening our restrictions here but as with most of our laws.. kept intentionally vague haha
@KentEBikes A few questions for you... First one, why do you consider that restriction on UK pedelecs are being increased? In the 15 years that I have owned, ridden, reviewed and pruduct tested pedelecs, this has not been the case. My second and third question, is why do you consider the UK pedelec law to be vague, and why do you choose to flout it, especiallyif you intend to review and be an ambassador for them? There is nothing vague about it, and in the case of the bike that you are reviewing, it should only be used on private land that has no public access or Right Of Way. To use legally, it should be registered for the road, should not be used on bridleways, and cycle paths, and the rider should have relevant insurance and wear a motorcycle crash helmet. In respect of the review of the bike, you should have mentioned the full UK legal status of it, as people may well buy the bike assuming it legal to use, when it isn't. For the review, negatives for the bike include unknown battery cells, non compliant lights, cast wheels which are arguably not suitable for off road use, and in the case of the rear one, tie you into only being able to buy replacement motors from the supplier, in the event of failure. UK support and warranty details should also be given. A suggestion for future reviews would be to cover battery cells, controller, sensor type, and in respect of range, all test rides should be carried out on a set route of say 20 miles, with a known elevation gain, otherwise it is pointless, and ridden on the highest power setting. By doing so, you then have a datum for future reviews, and bike comparison. Edit... It should also be noted that it isn't the UK pedelec law that has changed, it is the end users that have changed. Gone are the days when a buyer wanted a pedelec to offer an assist to make cycling an easier option, whereas now, they are being treated as a motorcycle. It is cheap ebikes such as above that don't meet UK pedelec requirements, that have added to the issue.
nice review Andy and congrats on the new channel 👍 Could you please expand on what the UK rules for E-bikes mean for top speed and throttle function where you don't have to pedal ? Cheers
Hello from Indiana USA and this 62 year old lady 😊. Came over here to subscribe 😄 after watching the most recent episode of your camping 🏕️ channel 😀🎈. Very enjoyable video 😍 thanks for the great information 😁👍👍👍👍👍. I enjoyed watching, even though I am too old and disabled to ride a bike again. Still,a fun video 😍😁👍👍👍👍.
What is the range for the battery in distance and what is the top speed on road/well kept path? Excellent review. Hope you will still do some adventure videos on your other channel.......
Loving the new side UA-cam channel Andy and great reviews. Would love to see an Ebike you could literally strap the kitchen sink too. Like a Swiss Army knife loaded with gadgets etc. Keep up the great work. 👍 😎👌
Great video Andy, Im looking to either buy an e-bike or possibly upgrade my fat bike to an e-bike. Do you think you will do any reviews on the up grade side of things? either way iv subscribed and am looking forward to more from the world of e-bikes.
Good luck with the channel Andy. What’s happening with you other review channel. Will you start posting on Patreon again. I miss those little posts and insights. Good luck with this one. I’m following. Atb Paul.
Please consider your car license whilst driving this on the roads. I'm guessing 9 points would be about right for an unregistered, uninsured motorcycle should you get stopped or have an accident and certain professions become involved. The rules regarding ebikes certainly require looking at, but as it stands, could you risk losing use of your car? I hope the channel grows and we see many more reviews of different models. All the best.
I have been looking at this bike a bit from you and Simon playing with them. Legal where I am at... I like the look of it. I assume you might in the future you might test bike trailer?
Hi there, thanks for the video, I would like to order the Fiido T1, but I wondered, if you happen to find obstacles along your path, for example some steps, can you lift it and go further or is it too heavy? Thanks
What is its practical range riding in level 2 only on pedal assist? I am planning to buy one for food delivery. So i should need 70 to to kms a day. Is it possible? Your help is appreciated. Tia.
The only problem is you can’t legally take it on the road as the motor is 750W and it has an accelerator on the handlebar. So for offroad, fine, but not for on the road.
Illegal to use on the road in the uk. Not Epac approved as 750w motor regardless on how it may or not be restricted. And not type approved. Let’s hope this Chanel isn’t going to be dedicated to reviewing these illegal bikes.
Just wanna point out one thing - the bike is 36kgs and in the clip you absolutely manhandled it over a fence. That is a strong man right there
Yes I got mine today and couldn't lift it out of the box ! Don't upset this lad 😅
as a mountain bike rider and lover of the wild camping, this channel is a win win for me... and for many i suspect.

Hi Andy, I'm excited to follow your new Channel. Your product reviews are always spot on. I'm getting the bug for an Ebike.
Good luck with your ebike channel. I would be interested in seeing some cargo bike reviews.
Good luck with the new channel Andy
Thanks philip
Hi Andy, I’ve just subscribed to your new channel and I’m loving it. Great work mate, keep it up.
Great review, thanks for the video. Only suggestion would be to make clear which bike is the Pro vs original when doing the side by side B roll shots.
Fab vid on a fab new channel, bought one of these on seeing your previous vid, very pleased with it, can't get more than 15mph 25kph even on full throttle so perfectly legal in UK. Keep on trukkin' Dude!

You can have a throttle but must be restricted to 4mph and is meant for walk assist only

@@eddiejefferies3659 why would care about the “law”😂
@@KentEBikes i've been thinking about getting this bike do you think it would be good for a fat guy like 300lbs and some gear

congrats for your new channel. i used to have an e bike but in my foolishness i sold it.

Can anybody explain who is doing the policing of the throttle on e bikes, surely nobody is checking eh
Tbh, unless you're being stupid on the bike, I don't think you'd have a problem. But what do I know 🤷♂️🤣

Nicely done mate!
Like your review. Where can we buy this in England?
Ok just subscribed 😊 from old channel. Love my e-bike😊
Good luck with the new channel Andy i love my ebike so you have my sub and support mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
@kent e bikes - i read that the motor is higher than allowed under current UK EAPC law - is this right?
I’m just very confused if you can ride them legally, and the dangers of the bikes catching fire when you charge them, as reported in the news
unless the bike/battery is really really cheap (under 1000) i wouldnt worry about a battery imploding if you take care of it correctly
What range are you getting out of the bike pal, anywhere near the advertised?
Hi there, thanks for the video, I would like to order the Fiido T1, but I wondered, if you happen to find obstacles along your path, for example some steps, can you lift it and go further or is it too heavy? Thanks

Is there any place I can test ride the Fido T1 pro? I live in suffolk VA
Include price please thanks
😍
👍🏻👍🏻
Interesting.
Hi :-) Looks lots of fun*
150 km. range? Wow, how about that!
I'd follow you to hell and back.goodluck Andy
The main things for me are how much. how fast. the range and suspension.
Thanks buddy, I'll bear that in mind
You mean a spanner 😜
The only problem is you can’t legally take it on the road as the motor is 750W and it has an accelerator on the handlebar. So for offroad, fine, but not for on the road.
Do you think you will buy one? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Illegal to use on the road in the uk.
Not Epac approved as 750w motor regardless on how it may or not be restricted.
And not type approved.

Great start Andy! I hope the new channel is a great success 🎉...... makes me want to get my ebike out of the garage and dust it off ! 🚲🏕🚲
Only problem I've got with the bike is the look it's like something your granny would ride
You mean gangster granny 👵
My granny was strong and beautiful
Or, the Steak Detective behind enemy lines.....
It’s actually a bit more rugged looking in person.
It’s more like a Swiss Army Bike IMHO.
What’s the price on this bike
1699
What a great idea for another Kent Channel looking forward to them all fella great stuff 👍
