Whats up Smiley, been a long time since iv seen you. I was the other guy that was on Russ with Joker Metal Malisha. Glad to see you and terry out finally
Mitch reminds me of several cellies I've had. I always had kinda older cellies that were full of stories about the good old days. Love your stories, Mitch.
No one has spent that much time in prison and got out to talk about it in a Integennt way...only Mitch...get down with your bad self..it's not easy to ride a bike. Your hands cramp up ,your back hurts. But it is fun.. I want one even if I just ride it on the weekends.
Much respect to you brother. I know who’s who and you are one or very few that I look to as and elder from a position of respect. Keep doing this great work and all the best to you and your loved ones.
@@HARDINTENTIONS Mitch with all due respect I appreciate your humbleness but have to tell you that you are NOT at all just a regular dude. Regular dudes don't come out from what you've been through. Most would not have survived and among those that do barely ANY can actually transition back into free society. You have not only been able to do that but also evolved to the highest level of knowledge that most people who grow up in the best environments and have all the advantages in the world never achieve...and that is the realization that helping others is the only way to be. You are helping so many. Thank you. You have EARNED the special respect I am giving you and should be so proud. According to the numbers guys like you don't make it. And definitely don't become great leaders and teachers to others. Don't down play what you have done here. I would guess that the odds of you being where you are in life today are less than one in a million.
I caught your channel early on, and lost you for a bit. Found you again, and find myself binge watching these. I’m getting past fifty, and have had a lot of experiences; and from places of violence. I find that most don’t understand what coming from violence means. It pokes out, and most are freaked out. It’s not the violence it’s the thinking. Much of these last couple generations are like watching quads in a battle Royal. I’m seeing young dumb puffed up in MC world. Tough doesn’t need to show itself; but seen by those who come from that place… I know I’m lucky to have not been caught up in a lifetime inside. I knew that once in, I’d likely catch more than got me in. THX for sharing! I enjoy the stories. I suspect many learn something. Maybe a day will come when I get a chance to meet & ride. You probably have enough people you’ve met on here to have a weekend camp or something. I’ve made friends online that we still meet up for Colorado mountain camp outs for almost 20yrs now. Enjoy and make the best of the time/opportunities we got left.
Say, Mr. Smiley: I never catch the lives when they happen, but I subscribed to your channel as soon as you went on Death's show. I watch all your vids and love what you're doing. I never went to the pen, but I've spent about a year in county, and come from a biker family. Big love from West Texas. You need to write a damn BOOK, man!
Mitch... Johnny...ended up in new Folsom. He did check in at pelican bay but ended up on that one yard that wasn’t sny but might as well be. I know this because I was on fish row there on my last term and he was there. I remembered him from Tracy is how I know the story and it’s the same guy
When I was at Soledad in 1992 to 1995 it was converting over to level 2 .. But it was all level I got released from xwing to gymdorm. Absolutely fucking crazy place to live. Mitch.know it. In the gym dorm at Soledad they had a catwalk with a man that was holding a mini 14 .
What a video... LOTS of lessons here, that definitely pertain to life outside the pen as well. Be careful who you trust, people need to earn your trust... and that takes time.
Just a little story of Tracy. I work for the electric company and we had to go in there to do some work this is around 1983. Always wear lineman boots that are 16 inch tops and I'd wear jeans and a blue works shirt. We went in was a big truck and a pickup did our work fixed everything was coming out of the gate. The stop this I was sitting in the big truck which would have four guys and I was in the middle and everybody got out except me. The guard looked at me and says get out of there he thought I was an inmate. So he started saying a bunch of stuff and I think he was going to handcuff me. I says wait a minute I pulled out my wallet and I showed it to him he looked at me and laugh and he told me. You will not like the food here so get out here we all laugh I went on my way
Uncle Mitch I have spent literally a 100 hours listening and re listening to your amazing stories of struggle and redemption. Thanks for all you do I truly wish you the best in life. Keep it Hard buddy!!
great content Mitch! As an out-of-stater, i've been intrigued by the gp/sny system in California. In your prison career, have you ever known any good dudes that "checked in" for legitimate reasons?
I've been watching ever since your channel came out and I just wanted to say that your life's journey is a real motivation and inspiration a long my path .. absolutely no flattery just hard facts .. Appreciate you good sir ...
Much love Smiley. I paroled from there in 2005 I worked plant ops and I worked with the steam fitter. I mainlined in DVI 2001 -2005 and your exactly correct about that water, if that filter was off it’s all bad on the water.. happens damn near weekly. Shit you’d be showering and look down at your boxers and they’re friggin brown. Like WTF . The water tasted you back.. shit... it had texture when it was working it was like slime lol
You are a good man. A man of values and integrity. Both of which are important qualities, but more important and even remarkable when you are living amongst a bunch of scum bags. Mitch shows that you can still be a real man in that environment. What I found fascinating about this story is that it was really cool to hear the story from a guy who stood up for what he believed in and didn't just jump into the 'norm' of the environment. Most of the guys telling stories here on youtube who have done time in California seem to simply accept the rules that were told to them when they got there. As Mitch has explained, the new generation of inmates is very different than the ones from his generation. These guys don't question anything. They just do what they are told....even if the guy telling them what to do is a piece of crap. Sad.
Also, it’s very sad that people do not have independent thought anymore even amongst people who pride themselves on being in the outlaw world or the criminal element, claiming to live outside the norms of society they still play follow the Leader like sheep, even if that means it’s going to ruin their life for a long time it’s very sad. Independent thinkers are far and few in between nowadays.
And you know, I never liked the cops telling me what to do, why would I let some dude I had no respect for tell me what to do. It’s just about being real and making a decision.
These videos really help, luckily I've never been to prison but where I work has bad elements that I can't afford to get into with , I've been there 16 years so I'm not going to find that kind of money easily.
