I had a day trip coming up yesterday and saw your video about the High Line. I expected it to be an OK way to kill time before the play we were seeing. My wife and I were blown away by how beautiful and accessible and popular it was and how easy it was go 6-10 blocks without crossing any streets. It made our day and I've been raving about it to everyone I know since then. It was not at all what we were expecting to find in NYC. Great video, even 3 years later.

@@The_Fight_Game Sorry, probably too late, but I believe it's 30 minutes to walk the whole High Line one direction at an average pace. The amazing thing about it is that you can walk in tourist mode (not paying much attention to traffic or figuring out complicated directions) from the train station to the High Line to Hudson Yards.... all over the place.

Funny story from one of the times I went there, I missread the sign for taglialatella galleries, I read it like tagliatella, I must’ve been hungry 😄
There’s a secret gem in the area I find really interesting. If you go south from 14th street, just past where the video projection is happening and look toward the Hudson you will see a rusty metal arch, it’s pier 54, the planned destination of the titanic. You can see it in the video around the 1 minute mark 🙂

I've never been to New York before but it seems like New York is a beautiful place that you can live slow-paced life in there.
I think maybe I will want to visit the city someday!
Thanks for making this wonderful video. :)

Chelsea food market? I've been living here for about 4 1/2 years and this is my first time hearing about it. Gotta check it out. Good videos!

Would you do a tour to Industry City in Brooklyn (Sunset Park)?

One thing to also mention is the varied architecture along the Highline. There is Billions of dollars of new buildings by the world’s leading architects along the Highline. I like nighttime visits during winter, it allows views into the buildings and apartments.

Amazing place, I'd suggest you go early in the morning to avoid crowds :-)
Also there are other cool spots around, for example the mother Theresa/Ghandi mural which can be seen from some points near Chelsea market, the Starbucks reserve roastery which is really beautiful for coffee lovers, and also the building behind the "LOVE" sign was one of my favorites in the entire city, designed by zaha Hadid if I'm not mistaken. As always, great video!

I remember that area from the 40's when the railroad man on the horse rode in front of the train. Brings back memories......Walt in Miami

Hello there John. Now I'm finding lots and lots of video's about the High Line. So I'm checking those out. A little bit of a rabbit hole for me but I'll try to manage screen time about this. Hmmmm. I will keep an eye on what you are doing tho. Best wishes.

Really helpful, thanks! Just wondering how much time to schedule for walking the high line? Assuming a few stops along the way to enjoy the view!

So that’s where the Westside Cowboys come from I love how the history of the railway has been preserved even the abandoned part showing how nature takes over when things are not used.
Great video and yes you are getting famous you might need a couple of bodyguards and PA people to help you with the fame 👍👍👍👍
