I would highly agree. There are alternative foam mounting pads at home depot that have a much stronger and more permanent hold especially on the brick walls. The command strips glue is not recommended.

A couple of large swamp coolers is the answer. They take water and ice, and blows cool air from a fan. Depending on size depends on how large the space cools, but it’s way better than any fan. Doesn’t require venting. We use one at a cabin we go to on vacation every year that doesn’t have ac or heat. It’s a lifesaver.
I recommend using a Torras Neck Air Conditioner. Pricey, but SOOO worth it. Use it in amusement parks and walks outside in the humidity in Maryland all the time.
Also want to mention, thank you so much for doing these videos. My 6-year-old son loves watching your videos with me and he is getting ideas for what we are going to build for his Lego City soon. Even his younger brother and baby sister enjoy watching and I'm sure will be helping out as they get older. Keep up the great work and appreciate all of your sharing!

The boys finale was a perfect season cliff hanger. They sell neck a/c devices. They are shaped like an airplane pillow, but around your neck, that blows cold air.
The ikea boxes are great for sorting and storing lego and for kids grab and play boxes, don't get me wrong I love them and have about 20 in assorted sizes but they're not tight enough to build on. Jordan get a split system air conditioner (as powerful as you can get) for upstairs install it facing across from couch to desk so the smaller space gets hit first so you can have a cool breeze and not due of heat stroke in summer. Bring on winter for you 😂 Creat a cute "if you miss wipe it up, and wash your hands" brick art for the bathroom 🤣
I like to browse in office/tech stores! There's SO much more stuff on your store shelves than here. We're a smaller college town with a thing against large-especially chain-stores. It's out of town or online for more choices and lower prices.

Genuinely curious…. In the US most modern business buildings have it. I think the suggestions for the whiteboard were mostly for the constant visual of “the list” and not meant to offend. Those of us that get distracted “squirrel”🙃👍… benefit from the constant visual where electronic lists that you have to open don’t feed the brain the same way. Maybe it can project from your phone to a monitor for the visual-ooh-that would be cool! Anywho, great video! 🎉
The Ninjago City sets being elevated (like on a mountain) looks amazing. Those have to be my favorite sets of all time. Sure, the modular sets like the downtown diner are excellent and were stellar build experiences, but there’s something about the creativity, colors, and overall aesthetic that gives the Ninjago City sets the win. I had a blast building Gardens, Markets, and my all-time favorite, the original Ninjago City. And your beach area is fantastic looking too. Good luck on your continual updates to the Lego city and warehouse. You’re 100% right about time flying by way too fast. Being a dad makes time go by even faster, maybe because you’re busy doing dad stuff on top of everything else. And yes, I know, moms have it worse in ways, no doubt about it. Also, I reviewed the movie Shawshank Redemption in high school, for my student newspaper. Seeing that film as an older teenager, that movie really made an impression on me - like the tragic story about Brooks, or the transcendent friendship between Red and Andy. The ending is second-to-none; the feelings you get when Red uncovers the clues and reunites with Andy is so beautiful. There’s a lot of truth in the quote: “Get busy living or get busy dying.”

In lieu of that, on really bad days I guess there's the option of a "swamp cooler": get a bag of ice, put it in a bowl or basin between you and the fans. It's a bit of a hassle and it might help you keep a wee bit cooler than just the fans as it melts. They have those neck fan/personal AC unit things at Walmart, probably all sold out in person right now, though. PS: I have my Elvis Lego art set above the toilet in my bathroom, lol...

Bricksie, with the channel, if your dead-set on just using those arc pieces, might I then suggest a off-set of two suds, so the arc's are centered above each other? Still think that wedge-arc-wedge is the best one, there. You need to fuse the lower arc with the the upper arc('s), somehow. Do try out the lighthouse switch, the channel road, hocus pocus next to fishing store and so on. Try-fit it, see if you like such a alteration.
I still haven't picked up the Dungeons & Dragons set. By the time I got around to getting to the LEGO website, it was already on backorder. As someone who grew up with both LEGO and D&D in the 70s and 80s, I am irritated by this... but the oppressive heat is keeping my irritation in check. I'm hoping to be able to order it before summer is over and the weather has cooled off enough for me to be able to start building again.

Not one to commment as I just enjoy your ideas and watching them come to life... But, have you ever considered a large 'golden gate' style bridge? Maybe even part of one going off the edge of the city... Also, as you have so much space - what about a sports stadium (football/baseball etc), could be a fun build. Lastly... A rocket launch site? A nasa style building with a rocket etc. That's all i have ideas wise... Keep up the amazing work!!

The Zoo’s bird aviary might look cool with some sort of curved or dome roof. Like the Jurassic Park Visitor Centre, or the Botanical Gardens, or the clear garage door pieces used on the Studgate Train Station.
My first daughter was born yesterday, we are home now building lego, watching Bricksie Life is good.

A word of warning, command strips dont tack well in hot and humid environments, learnt that the hard way (world map, stary night meet the floor)

Maybe a Air heat pump which you can use also for cooling if it is possible to drill a hole in the wall and install it in the area upstairs.
