Hello and thank you for the very useful sharing of your work. I have a question: in your video we can see that you use the Hall effect sensor 3144 in standalone mode and then there is also a circuit with 4 pins: this circuit I assume should be connected on the Onstep board in the same way as you connected the "standalone" sensor as I read that the fourth pin named A0 is not valid, is this correct? Also what is the difference between using the "standalone" sensor and the sensor mounted on this mini-board? Thank you.

Hello Khalid I was wondering if you are still doing the stm32 kits or not. I have been checking periodically for the past month or two but the stock status never changes.

I was not the one selling them. A friend did. He will not be doing this anymore. But there is some else who is buying the parts and putting together kits. I will announce his order form when he has enough stock. So keep checking my site for a new link to a new order form.

i connected the sensor on the ramps. but I don't know if it is working or not any light is not on in mega, will a library be loaded for the sensor?, also how can I tell if it is working.

Use a multimeter to measure voltage on pin when a magnet is close to the sensor, and when it is not close. If voltage changes, then all is working.

I put PEC_SENSE to ON_PULLUP....PEC_SENSE_STATE to LOW.....I tested pin is ok, it change from 3.3 to 0 when magnet close to sensor. (hi is still 3.3 v also if I change jumper on 5v). But nothing works. Indi driver on ekos not detect sensor.

      I don't have a quick answer.
You can ask in the OnStep group.

Could you show how to use PEC with the index. What's the advantage .

What I did is record PEC several times (about 5 or 6) using autoguiding from the main scope. This stores the PEC corrections in EEPROM. Then when OnStep starts it will always playback PEC corrections. The advantage is instead of the star oscillating back and forth, it will be tighter, and closer to a round shape. If you don't know what Periodic Error Correction, then read this article which explains what it is.

@@khalid_ba yes ,but i found the sky platinum could restore once at one time when the record finish, it will auto playback.how do you record several times.thank you !

@@yangyunbo1 To record multiple times, I use the Android App, and click Stop under PEC, then start a guiding session, and press Play. After recording is done (number of seconds for worm period), it will play automatically. Stop, and repeat several times.

      I don't sell kits.
The 128K STM32 module is now impossible to get because of the pandemic chip shortage.
There are other cheap options, such as the R32+CNCv3.
Check the OnStep Wiki for details.
