Good review. Is there a “general” setting ? What I mean is, let’s say I mount it in a tripod, and want to shoot a PCP, then my BB pistol, then my springer, then the CO2, you get the point. Or do I have to set up a profile for each gun I shoot ?
Hi Anthony, You can make sure your rifle is legal, which is always good to keep checking as some rifles can creep up in power. You can also check for consistency for different pellets, some apps and features for telling you holdover at different distances require the velocity of the pellet
Great review thank you! I just purchased one & im new to shooting. Just a question to you experienced fella’s..What is Spread and STD Dev? Here is the data the FX App saved: Shot count: 57 Low: 457 Hi: 691 Avg: 638 Spread: 234 STD Dev: 57.1 Please let me know if the Spread & STD Dev values are good or bad and what they mean. Many thanks
Spread is the total spread of the shots, so the difference between the highest and lowest shot in that shot string. STD Dev is standard deviation which I would suggest you google as it's a bit complicated to explain in a few words
Range & Country Airguns - thank you for explaining. From the data I provided in my previous comment are the Spread and STD Dev looking good or too high or too low? I’m using the Umarex 850 M2. Thanks again
Very fair summary. I just bought one and it is easy to start using. But, does anyone know how to show FPS and FtLbs for each shot at the same time on the shot string screen? I can see Shot number - FPS OR FtLbs - Time of shot (I am really not interested in the time of the shot). In the settings I have set FPS as the speed reading and FtLbs as the secondary speed reading but I can't work out how to see them both on the Shot String screen. I am using IOS Can anyone help??
@@rangecountryairguns5883 ok thanks I have heard some say it will and some say it won’t , but you mentioned top velocity so now I know it won’t. Thanks again.
Great easy video review , thanks
No no no,it was the yellow pages ! 🤣
Seriously though thanks for the review 👍

Where did you get the fixing bracket from on the second FX, and are they available to buy? Many thanks ,regards Tony
Thanks for the video. Have you been able to figure out how to delete saved shot strings on Android?
I have one of these and it is fantastic but I have a question, you can calibrate it to +/~ 2% but what do you calibrate it with?
Where did you get the attachment bracket from? Elastic bands are proving fiddly.
Being a newbie to all this what can you do with the information the radar supplies you,?.

On your app, go to 'Profile Settings' on the bottom panel and you can select which units the display will show
That's an impressive shot stream. What rifle is that?
It is the Brocock Sniper XR in the laminate stock

Did you find out
@@JamesSmith-dt3yf No, Did you ?. I think i will design a 3D print . and mmake one for myself.

@@JamesSmith-dt3yf Well Bud. if i crack it, I will let you know.
Will it work with rimfire?
The maximum velocity it will read it is 1099fps so unless you are using subsonic .22LR ammunition, no it will not work
