It will be released on 3 waves:
1st wave - for backers of our upcoming sequel Kickstarter at a specific reward tier (1-2 months)
2nd wave - for DLC owners (3-4 months)
3rd wave - for everyone (6-8 months)

oh shit, an enterprising artist that can emulate the monster prom art style could make a ton in commissions if they advertised well.

If I understand this correctly, I feel like this opens the door for so many fandoms to create easy dating games of their favorite IP's. At least if you can upload literally any images and write literally whatever you want. I'm down for it.

My only concern is, will the canon characters be included as pre-made assets, or will we have to find replacement images for them?
I assume they'd be easy enough to get from a wiki, but it'd be nice to know for sure.
They have premade assets. However it looks like you can also add your own versions of the characters in your own art style!

Btw, I have a question to ask......Its about the "Character Creator". Is it by any chance possible to create *Playable Characters* too? Or is it only possible for the NPC's?

Why does Damien's Red dad look like a Wizard Spider-man?
Can you share events with other players, or is this only for your personal benefit? If the first, how would you vet the events? Since the main appeal of the events is that they're a surprise, there has to be some way for a player to download a mod event without knowing what it contains. There also has to be some way to make sure people aren't posting straight-up porn or anti-Semitic crap. Or people's personal information. That could be really dangerous.
Ah, makes me think of when I did this with "Pokémon" except, accepted... ah, wow... this looks stunning, my heart is on high-tension mode, I need to start designing some more monster characters that would fit in this world, this has to be my all-time favorite game down to every little detail, I love these people!
Can't wait for those people for can emulate this game's style to make some mods!

You bet I'm going to try to mock the game's art style while doing so, even if it means my character designs will have to be advanced or, simplified I'm doing it!

astrid Alessi i don’t care when we get it, it could be in years and I wouldn’t care, the fact they are doing something like this is great, it makes the game 100% customizable which is great. I hope people don’t start yelling at them to release it ASAP. Last thing we want is it to be released and be super buggy.
They'll be releasing it at different times, those who are backers in thieir kickstarter will get it the earliest, about 2 months. Those who bought the DLC will get it in 3-4 months. And everyone else will get it in 6-8 months. This is what they said in twitter

Is it possible to put in someone elses character from a mod? I was thinking that if we can input sfx from mods into our own mods then maybe we could also input character texture but I cant find a way to do it or if it's even possible
