Passed my driving test a few hours ago, your videos helped a lot, so thank you very much! Also good luck to those who are going to have their tests in the future!
Wow, that gearing system! 🤩 Great work on your end Pin, and excellent video. Love the car and the idea of driving it from a driving instructors perspective or learner driver as the title states. 🙏🏾
15:10 In Australia - police officer spots you changing lanes without signalling, a blast of his siren and a flash of red & blue lights in your rear view mirror.
i just failed my 1st test with 1 serious, im really annoyed at myself for making such a stupid mistake, but i will make sure it doesn't happen the 2nd time!
18:34 Car on left - in Australia the owner would receive a parking ticket for illegal parking on two counts, 1) parked against flow of traffic(on wrong side of road), 2) parked too close to intersection.
Hi Pin, what do you think of this? I did my driving test yesterday and failed with 2 serious faults. There was an instance where I drove the wrong way because I was in the wrong lane. My examiner had me to work out myself how to get back onto the road that I was mean't to go down so didn't give me any directions, independant driving was over. Can an examiner do this? Is it not the examiners problem anymore if you go the wrong way leaving you to work it out yourself?
Looks great fun but the gears look awful. At least if I got to drive this it makes the pull/push even more worth it that I took the time to learn it. Pull/Push excellently shown by Pin.
I wonder how expensive the insurance is on these for a 17 year old driver. It's easy to fix, perfect for Edinburgh potholes and a small economical engine. Man I wish I had the money for one.
15:53 Shouldn't the left of the 2 lanes continuing around have been chosen to take that next exit? Seems a bit off for faulting Ian for drifting over lines that are barely visible and then faulting for not staying left where straight-lining it is perfectly safe if you check there's noone else coming onto the roundabout at the same time, then exiting a single lane wide exit from lane 2 where the lanes are very clearly defined. Going by road markings alone, you exited from the A463 lane into the exit before the A463 exit. Just as well Ian isn't testing you... On that note, you also signalled right without checking the mirrors earlier in the drive. You had just got into the car, but something I found interesting to note while I'm at it, which I wouldn't have commented on if it wasn't for that roundabout incident.
Can anyone help my gf just failed her practical test today due to speed (no not speeding) she was on a bendy back lane and it’s obvious a 60 however even I cannot do 60 and driving instructors have said 30is fine even if your doing 15 round the corners that are sharp and tight howver she has failed and been told to do 60 all the way thru it as that’s the speed limit. Now if you did (which you physically can’t) it’s 1. Steep and a punto 1.4 will not get to even 50 2. Tight so if there’s cars you would baso hit them 3. End in a bush due to the road condition being pot hole avenue. Don’t know what anymore it doesn’t make sense if they want us to 60 down or up it then they should probably not take us down the route but hey ho any help?
I dont see how that's right, a speed limit is what it say's, A maximum limit, if you are going slower because you feel that it is not safe nobody even police or a court of law cannot do anything there is no such thing as a lower limit, I would report him, he is wrong saying this.
16:00 Exiting a roundabout, in Australia you would not move to outer lane until you've cleared the roundabout, provided no other car is behind you. This instructor would fail an Australian driving test.
I feel like everyone should drive an actual car without all the assists to realise how much cars protect us and help us these days. Even an older mk1 mx5. Something you have to actually drive.
I’ve gotta say it’s very impressive how quickly you picked up a completely new gear system
just seems like a more complex h pattern

Good on ya. Wish I passed mine recently. Lol passed my driving test in 2006.

this gearing system is 100x harder to understand than normal gears

@@akajshhshbob4005definitely not 100x. Maybe a bit harder but its quite intuitive

Moar revs, Pin! It'll happily sit all day at 5500rpm :)
130km/h downhill on the Autobahn was a bit too ambitious, though!
😂 reason Pin struggled he wasn’t wearing “DriveMedics”
Love the Ram Raiding style metal bumper on the front!!
