Christian I have to say as a teacher the material and pacing you provide is truly masterful. I can tell you take the time to give us all small steps to take so we are always growing, and not straining too much. Your lessons have been a major resource for me.
this course is Absolutely just right. way you explain is so clear and even if with people with a few thumbs on one hand like me .....it is still acheivable. Thanks a million
Continue all these beginner lessons in blues and jazz styles working into intermediate levels….Love your style of teaching it’s easy to understand and Love your lessons 🎹👍👍
Hello Christian, i love the way you teach, its very easy to understand but i want to do a humble request you to make some videos about bebob piano playing, lots of respect from Nepal
Christian can you teach some slow blues rhythms with left hand and right hand runs in the blues and jazz formats for beginner to intermediate level…thanks so much 👍🎹
Great lesson, and YOU tell the reason why 'to do' a feature or style ! I see you really want us to succeed! I am enjoying my: Blues-III purchase. I love the included: 'St.James' Infirmary' - blues song. This book will really help me . Big Thank You, Sir !
Scales on blues scale are in misty, stardust, traces, my ship, this could be the start of something big and many others. This should be main tip for composing.
Christian, people who have followed you for a while and have learned from earlier videos, need these tutorials that expand the blues language. Perhaps you could feature a list of videos that would help beginners or late beginners reach the level required of your intermediate lessons.

Thanks for this great lesson. You were very generous. I would have counted it as two lessons. Would you usually play the g7 as altered when it's after the half diminished?
Improvement comes at the edge of competence… just where it’s a little uncomfortable. As a 2 year beginner I am a few lessons behind you, and have been for awhile. However, I find that as I improve the lessons are getting easier for me to understand and learn. I’m even getting used to that sparkling German humor 😂 I feel we are building something great here… thank you
Around 00:35 you express your fear of « over reaching » by inserting material that are too advanced for beginners. Well, I think that you are not. I started with you beginner series and I'm now halfway trought the easy series. The level is fine. In fact, you need to add levels of difficulty to keep your student challenged and motivated. I believe you have manage to strike a good balance. Thank you so much for all your great teaching!
Hi Christian, I have a book called 'Pianoforte Technique on an Hour a Day' by Tankard and Harrison - do you think it's an appropriate book for a rock pianist to be learning from?
Yes, you are pushing by giving us exercises just out of reach. So, Yes, it's a good work-out , lots of 'meat' in these lessons, many things to learn. Hand independence is what I need to work on- other than practice, are there any videos on improving Hand Independence ? Thank you, Dk...
And yet another magnificent video. Thank you!
