- For years, Sonos users have been requesting for headphones from the brand and that stops today because the brand has finally unveiled their very first personal audio product - the Sonos Ace. Lucky for us, we had the chance to play with and experience a little, thanks to TC Acoustics and Sonos for making it happen. We have a lot to share, so sit back and watch this Sonos Ace Initial Impressions.

this looks like such a great alternative to the airpods max. i cannot wait to try them! I enjoyed watching the vid fam
It could be, but to find out if it really is, gotta wait and see for the review. And thanks for your lovely words fam. :)
Robin Wong sent me here 😎
can it work with ps5
What kind of music do you think they are suited for? Do they perform better with music or movies?
Based on the brief moment listening to music and listening to a clip from the movie Gravity, I liked how it performed when watching movies because the sound signature is more in tune with movies than music. Then again, there's the EQ controls and so on, which I definitely have to check out while I get the headphones to review from Sonos for some extensive testing because what they demoed the Headphones in, is pretty much in a controlled (ideal) environment and not to forget, the app was in Beta state. So, there's a good chance that the real world experiences will vary.
but sad to see only sonos soundbar can activate its spatial audio
You can activate the spatial audio while listening via Bluetooth on your tablet or phones etc., but the experience might not be the same as listening when you swap with your home theatre system, more specifically a Sonos home theatre.
Thing is, the app, well again was in beta, so let's see how the final app looks like. Especially with them needing to fix the app for, well, you know the whole issues going on right now.
With two headphones connected to the sound bar, can you have two different sound volumes?
Here's the problem though, you could only pair one Sonos Ace to the Arc. So that means we don't have the option to connect more than one Ace headphones or control the volumes separately. Ngl I was a bit frustrated over this too.
