Nulgath won the war. Overwhelmingly: Phase 1 was tight, but Phases 2 and 3 were quickly won by Nulgath, despite adding rewards for Legion players. The artist had to go to work on the game Oversoul (which was a complete failure), and Dage took his place as head of the AQW game. This "war" was just to justify Nulgath being removed from the AQW story. But as the players love Milton's art (SIMPLE IS BETTER !) and they have united in "Nulgath's Nation", Artix continued to call on him regularly. Nulgath therefore remained in AQW's lore, even if the character as such no longer had anything in common with the artist's original vision. For almost all players who played at the time, this "war" was experienced as a betrayal. Since then, there have been even more betrayals concerning Nulgath (which would take too long to explain), but in front of the outcry of the players, it was decided to "back off" and even give a "rematch" 10 years after the famous legendary war. Once again, the Nulgath side won the fight: and it wasn't even a fight anymore, it was a slaughter. The number of victories required to win the war was achieved in record time. And, despite very interesting rewards for the Dage camp, the overwhelming superiority of the Archfiend was confirmed. But Milton no longer works at AE. He does commissions for them from time to time, that's all, and he has kept his status as an independent artist. "Nulgath" is only a symbol, for most fans of the "Milton" style.
@@kazraven9086 Well actually, when I played this game 5 hours ago, I was able to watch 2 cutscenes from the war happening a couple hours ago, and when I beat Dage at /darkwarnation, The cutscene I watch is that Dage won and he spared Nulgath and after that, I watch the replay from the cutscene, but this time, Nulgath won. Kinda odd.

He didn't win. AE cheated; the decision to win Dage was made early in the war, since Milton had to work on the game Oversoul.
