Its your CHT sensor(cylinder head temp sensor) car goes into failsafe when you unplug it and kicks the fan on full speed. (same as if you turn your AC on MAX the fan should turn on max/full speed). Disconnect your fan plug and look inside for melting.
Hi. I have 2011 Lincoln town car radiator fan does it turn on when the temperature gage get to half way, but when I turn on the A/C the fan turn on. my question is do i have to replace the whole fan or change the temperature sensor? by the way no check engine light. Thank you

SO, you helped me where I can get the fan on to get me to the shop BUT did you find out the REAL problem??
Nope. Now it works normally. Have no idea why it wasn't kicking on in the beginning.
@@MegaBobson123 how long did you leave it unplugged before you reconnected it and seen it was back working correctly
