Wonderful...I went through the opposite revelation and rather than become a Sister I was introduced to a gentleman and through prayer and discernment married... What a blessing when Our Lord is is in the center of everything 😊❤

What a gift to hear your story, Sister!
I was wrestling with what God wanted of me being a sister being married or staying in the police force. . Finally I went into my church and prayed and said to Him "OK. I give in. You show me what you want if me and I will do it." a week later I shared the sign of peace with a man I'd never met before. 7 months later we were married. 46 years later we're still together. I'm glad I did as God told me.

I like that! The Lord doesn't put a (ligitimate) desire on our heart unless He is willing to fufill it. Awesome. I have the desire to be a Catholic evangelist, and it is being fufilled.😊

Dear Sr Teresa,Thank you for sharing your story of the love you have for Jesus I thought about my cousin who is a Sr Of Mercy in Parramatta Sydney you look like her when she was wearing the Habit and I had tears coming down from my eyes as you spoke of Adoration which I love being with the Lord at the quiet time I was a Franciscan for 10 years and then the Lord changed my life to care for my parents as they grew older and now that they have left this earth I am taking care of my youngest brother who has a disability I found it difficult leaving the religious life but God speaks through others and thanks to my Cousin Sr Joyce she asked a good Holy priest to talk to me he told me God will have another plan for you and you will look back and see his hand guiding you and it's true its been over 10 years and I am caring for my brother and I try to spend time in Adoration Mass Holy Rosary when I can and see that time with Jesus in our local Cathedral that's the time when Jesus says come and rest for a while I will hold you and give you the strength to keep going and caring for your brother .God bless you Sister please pray for me to continue my caring for my brother and spending time with Jesus and His Holy Mother .🙏🙏😃

I cant lie, after all this time and Im just a few steps away from what I always thought my life's purpose to be, now our Blessed Lord throws me a curveball in my vocation. I trust Him fully, Im still wrestling with the idea of changing everything, especially now. What my spiritual director told me about his discernment was "Im just gonna keep going until you tell me no." That he wasnt sure if he was supposed to become a priest litterally until the day of his ordination. So I figure thats what Im going to do with mine. Stay on the path Ive been on for the last 22 years until He says no, while still dabbling with the idea of consecrated life. To really see where I can go in life. In all honesty I feel like He is saying, you can do one or the other. You can become a spiritual father or a biological father. As long as you rely on me, I got you. Has anybody else had this type of calling, like God is litterally giving you an option?
