Not gonna lie... I kinda agree. Totally nonsensical upon serious consideration, but it definitely sounds like the style of metaphor used by Owl City.
The point is that it sounds good, a lot of music is like that and it's always been this way

You see, that's what I thought at first, but after comparing the two, they have many differences in the actual music/timing.

This was the the first UA-cam video I ever saw. My dad showed it to me after I heard fireflies I was very young and didn’t understand it I’m now coming back to it and it’s a masterpiece
13 years later after I made a genuine hate comment about how much I hated this song because I loved owl city so much I have grown to love this parody because owl city is weird, also I named my synthwave playlist "bleeps and bloops" because I do be loving bleeps and bloops.
