- The original electric seats on this BMW are getting old and shabby, but luckily Mike has sourced some new seats which Edd can use to restore the old ones.

If I was buying a old M3 I would rather have slightly worn seats that are heated being an M3, than mint seats that arent. Dont see why he didnt just change the rear bench, chances are you wouldnt of been able to tell the slight colour difference
He should have just took the covers off of the heated seats, then replaced them with the good ones. It would be more time consuming, but well worth it.
He actually could have just moved the heating pad element over.
Off the road since 2013. The guy who gushed about buying it from Mike loved it so much he trashed it.
You should ask Edd back; the show would be great with both he and Ant together. Both are top notch; maybe the quick turn for profit with Ant combined with how-to's that we all grew to love with Edd. Got to be a way to win all around. Missing Edd, but don't want to disrespect Ant as he is a great hand with spanners himself. Both great in their own right.

Edd’s departure from the show is the same as top gear without Clarkson and the lads. Dead, Americanised and losing viewers by the episode.
Agree about Edd. Top gear with Freddy, Paddy and Harris is brilliant, Clarkson and Co had there time out of date now.
Mike does buy some pretty cool cars.

Still to this day I’m so confused how he took out those two clips, I had to destroy them and but boots in and took me 30 mins to put them in as it’s so hard to reach under the seat

it's to keep the wire connection intact and safe
Heatshrink. Then he wound electrical tape over it for more moisture proofing.
