- Digitized in early morning on a Sony PCM-D50 and harman/kardon TD392 (MIJ) at 96 KHz / 24 bit, normal position, no NR as indicated. Uploaded for historical and educational purposes only. This is an artifact from the Camden, NJ and Philadelphia, PA synthesizer scene. Compact cassette was in some ways the greatest media format for contemporary music. Tape culture is a relic of a fascinating decade, and one which is now long-passed.
Absolutely AMAZING Music! I wish the Nightcrawlers would release (or continue to release) a complete Discography of all their music, especially the hard to find cassettes! This concert is fantastic! Love the cassette art! Thanks for sharing! If there is more please share.
Excellent!!!

This is good stuff. im waiting for it to get cheesy but its not. its cool
thank god for monster energy
Does anyone else here feel like this is newly produced work that’s intended to pass as “old” or “newly discovered”?
I see tons of those but I don't think this is one of them. What makes you think that?
Nothing in particular, just that there’s a large influx of this stuff at the moment. All their artwork is exactly what we would “like to remember” independent recordings had…but really didn’t. Not here, but on other recordings, there are clearly synth voices used and production stiles that were definitely NOT available in the 80s. Dead giveaway.
@@startrek-theparadisemakers7846 I've noticed a lot of thumbnail images that appear to be vintage tape cassette cards but it's usually pretty obvious that they're new projects. Have you seen any that have a year listed like this? The only ones I've seen that do that are really cheesy attempts to pass off AI music as vintage vinyl records.
I did a few minutes of Googling and found out that Nightcrawlers are definitely a real group from the 80s though
@@startrek-theparadisemakers7846 Also most of these new albums masquerading as vintage don't have any tape hiss or vinyl crackles, which helps me to confirm their legitimacy
Nope. Just you. Check the copyright date.
