That boost by gear setup is what’s killing that M4, needs all the power in all gears 😂
He'll literally spin like crazy doesn't matter if he has mickeys on, that's what slowed him down this race.
He’s also brake boosting like a mf. Front brakes are spitting before launch

Looking at the sparks coming off the rs3 suggests that he brake boosted and been doing so since he has no brake pads left😂. Not sure if the m4 did the same, regardless that rs3 definitely got the sauce
he doesnt have stock brakes, it looks like he down graded them to brake boost easier? idk looks sketchy.
@@jecht86 I don’t think he downgraded, I think he upgraded. Rotor/caliper setups for comp drag on these cars are smaller than factory. Definitely has no pad left though

This rs3 is a heavy fkn hitter bringing in all the sauce. M4 having full power in 5th is kinda a waste when this rs3 is putting down 1000+ hp throughout the powerband from any gear. Probably one of your best vids in a while.

The Audi is making more power in the the first couple of gears, m4 needs more on the low end to keep up, the boost by gear is too conservative.
My guess is he daily’s it tho. Needs to just full send this M4 and buy a beater 03 civic like me to daily 😂

Engines are simply air pumps. They will make what ever power you want with enough air and fuel. Now how long it last and how much air it needs to reach the number you want depends on the size and cylinder wall thickness.

Well, that’s what AWD and Full power every gear does to a RWD car that can’t gain traction and is boost by gear hitting peak power at 5th gear. He’s only putting out 700 whp in like 2nd gear.
All that power and no way to stop it. The rear disk were bigger than front. I didn't know that was even a thing. Def not reccomended on impressionable kids here

How streetable are the RS3 with the big turbos? Is the lag a killer for most normal driving?
IMO not responsive for casual driving, after driving several IROZ built cars locally and considering the upgrade, it is very tempting once in boost though. This is coming from someone with a TTE777.
@@clos2070 this is not true, I own an Iroz RS3 and this car is the very streetable, it’s drives like stock until you are ready to get busy all you have to do is sport mode and map switch and you are cooking

I find it fine with a TTE777 . No where near as big as this guy is running but.
All depends on the tune and driver preference. In general, a stock RS for everyday driving would give you much more usable power. But if you like power.... sky is the limit bro youll hit all the boost you want, if you want.
Man, that M4 needs to maybe rethink the boost by gear setup. It might be just a bit to conservative for these races. It's a bad ass car for sure, but that Audi is just in beast mode for sure damn.

AG amazing race as usual. I recently bought an Audi RS3 8Y and I've been looking to tune the hell out of it. If you'd be so kind as to maybe ask the owner for the specific modifications he's done to his car because that baby was moving ! If he could also share the cost that would be nice, otherwise the mod list would be more than enough. Great race once again !
Likely fully built IMS850 or 1000 kit by the looks of it

Look into an Iroz kit. Don’t get the IMS850, might as well get the IMS1100 if you’re gonna be dropping that kind of money
Hes on a full frame turbo so probably on a precision 7675 or bigger thing is probably 1200-1400 crank hp. its not easy no cheap to make this kind of power.
Soon as I saw it was an F82 and not a G82 I knew it was gonna be a blood bath.
1100 whp? you are surely underestimating the F82 with 1100whp. Even at the 800whp is still a heck of a fast car.
Is the bmw brake boosting or using anti lag? Those will help a lot especially if he’s running a huge turbo…

Another example that boost by gear is a joke and suspension will always be better. Crazy to spend all that loot on boost by gear when better suspension is cheaper and faster. Same with that turbo 5.0 boost by gear.
lol it amazes me how delusional you are. ive seen you make this comment multiple times and its just retarded. boost by gear is very important for the street. most big power cars "gtr, ttr8, ttlambo," so forth all use this as suspension isnt always an option and even so its still limited. suspension work doesn't just mean you can throw whatever at it and you good cause you have suspension, you just sound foolish.
I'd rather do boost by gear than ruin the suspension on my M4. He can swap wheels and still handle like an M4 should.
