Hey bro. While I was replacing the thermostat, i mistakenly broke one of its thread (upper right one, (2 o’clock direction). It doesn’t seem like water comes off between engine block and thermostat housing. But I wonder if I or auto shop can fix this. Thank you!
Great video man! Got a question - Is there liquid leaking around this area it means the thermostat is not working properly? I'm having this issue right now and the vehicle is overheating quickly.
Check that the rubber seal isint stuck to the housing lol that was my problem, you have to use the old seal and put it on the new thermostat smh they should have included one

I think it has to do with the thermostat housing, it is deteriorated, or the ring gasket as well.
Does this work on my 97 tercel?
