Cecil giving the creepy transhumanist guy (forgot his name) another chance to use his clear talent for good is such a great detail, I really hope we see a lot from him
The thing I like about Cecil is that he feels _disgusted_ by the ways he has to dirty his hands to get things done. Even when he tells people that the ends justify the means, you can tell that he HATES the means. He's not some Amanda Waller.
I like how Cecil casually shows a method for effectively blinding viltrumites with specific frequencies of light after exposure to specific chemicals and then never brings it up again.
I've seen a lot of people comparing Cecil to BATMAN but hes not that. Cecil is an average man. An old man with a hell of a lot of experience and unbreakable conviction. What makes him a great character from the little we've seen so far is he does his job knowing what he had to become for the greater good without ever losing that sense of self. He hates himself because he had to act the part of the bad guy while always having the heart of a good guy. He dedicated himself completely to saving people knowing full well that every time, he will fail. What's a failure if the war is won? All the lives it cost that never needed to be spent. His spirit doesnt break because he knows the greater good means saving everyone else while never forgetting even the smallest life that was lost. That scene when he attacked and confronted omni man shows how human and vulnerable he is. He still panics hard in the face of death he should have NEVER survived and he pulls himself together because letting himself be too human would cost him his life and then everyone elses. His panting and admission of nolan's attacks putting his balls in his throat were really fucking badass but damn it if a weak, 1 hp 1atk character didnt look so fucking awesome. He cant do anything and hes not the god he faced right in the god damn eyes but what he chose to do is fight god as a man. That's earned some cold hard respect from me. Hes so aware and his mind is so damn sharp and resourceful. I feel like his will makes him the most invincible in the show so far. He could crack like an egg and that still wouldnt keep him down.
Nobody talling about him banishing a righteous demon back to hell because he needed to keep things "grey" This is what people mean when they say 'chess not checkers'
If they did a live action invincible show or movie (which probably wouldn’t hold a candle to this show) I can only imagine one guy playing Cecil and that’s Julian richings check him out as death in supernatural hes got the look just slap some prosthetic makeup on his lips and it could work plus his mannerisms as death are very similar to Cecil
Even tho he seems like the normal I do what I must for my country and all he shows he hates it and is not above other ways. Also he knows when to be gentle and when to be like you fucked up end of story. And when to be a bit of both

Cecil giving the creepy transhumanist guy (forgot his name) another chance to use his clear talent for good is such a great detail, I really hope we see a lot from him
Cecil reminds me of Nick Fury and Lex Luthor.
Man i hope they do a season 2
Season 2 and 3 have been announced they’re trying to adapt all 140 issues of the comics into the show
@@shawnsouth327 jeez, no wonder. Welp patience will be rewarded.

Unless amazon plus goes under. Which is quite possible.
A dumbass comment couldn't you look it up it takes 10 seconds idiot.
@@Raximus3000 If they keep making billion dollar dumpster fires like Rings of Power, they definitely will.
Cecil didnt dodge obni man's attacks because he had to carry his Gigantic balls
Seeing a lot of comparisons, might as well add mine, Luthen from Andor. Love the energy
The thing I like about Cecil is that he feels _disgusted_ by the ways he has to dirty his hands to get things done.
Even when he tells people that the ends justify the means, you can tell that he HATES the means. He's not some Amanda Waller.
When the world needs you, you answer your goddamn phone!
Seeing how crazy effective the reincarnated soldier cyborgs were, Cecil deciding to build an army of them is the most badass shit ever.
"I didnt expect you to be on me so fast" blew over omni mans head that he was being probed and tested
I like how Cecil casually shows a method for effectively blinding viltrumites with specific frequencies of light after exposure to specific chemicals and then never brings it up again.
cecil cecil on the sea floor
This show is so good man
"It's why I hate me too."
Cecil, you okay buddy?
bro needs a therapist
Not gonna lie if they kept working and upgrading those robot soldiers they might stand a chance lol, they kinda fucked Nolan up for a minute
imagine at that moment if Cecil hired battle beast to distract Nolan.
That would’ve been smart
I relapsed. I want that old man
😭😭
Least degenerate weeb
Glad Boyd turned his life around and became director of The Global Defense Agency
Cecil is like Bruce Wayne
In the world of invincible, cecil Stedman is the most terrifying creature on this planet
The only man worthy of competition against Marvel’s Nick Fury
After the Damien was gone, he turned into my favorite character
A badass voice acting a badass (walton goggins)
Image comics’ equivalent to nick fury, maybe even better
Nobody talling about him banishing a righteous demon back to hell because he needed to keep things "grey"
This is what people mean when they say 'chess not checkers'
Cecil can teleport
Walton Goggins is a helluva actor so underrated.
If they did a live action invincible show or movie (which probably wouldn’t hold a candle to this show)
I can only imagine one guy playing Cecil and that’s Julian richings check him out as death in supernatural hes got the look just slap some prosthetic makeup on his lips and it could work plus his mannerisms as death are very similar to Cecil
Honestly I think Cecil had to be one of the greatest side characters in a long time
When a demon tells you your going to a place worse than hell you must really be fucked
One of my favorite characters
Hes my favorite character
I couldnt help myself and looked up Cecil in the comics. I cannot wait for the show to catch up
Boyd Crowder finally gave up a life of crime.
fr cecil being 100% FACTS in all scene in invincible
Voiced by Walton Goggins
Even tho he seems like the normal I do what I must for my country and all he shows he hates it and is not above other ways.
Also he knows when to be gentle and when to be like you fucked up end of story. And when to be a bit of both
I like that when Hail Mary was being mentioned to Omni man Cecil just said we upgraded this big ass monster with everything we got so good fucking luck with the thing but when he’s talking to himself about it can only last 5 minuets I mean seriously after all of that five minuets is the best you can survive because Omni man is that jacked
Cecil has the biggest balls in the show, and he doesn't even have powers
Imagine a crossover between Homelander and Cecil.
He would chew Nick Fury raw. Cecil is one hell of a badass.
