Birmingham fan here. You’ve got a class manager here so pleased his back and healthy. Wish we’d had him longer but hey ho that’s life. Good luck to you all 🔵🔵🔵
Firstly, and I don't know the interviewers name, but what a top professional man, he showed total respect to Tony, empathy and great compassion, his questions were top drawer,..my respects to you Sir 👍 On the interview, listening to Tony was fascinating, and gave a fascinating insight to what we can expect going forward.. ❤ Welcome home Tony ❤
What an emotional interview. So happy that this genuine humble man is looking healthy, positive and speaking passionately about others, humility personifies this great man... Welcome HOME Tony Mowbray... Keep positive, keep on the front foot and always bounce back from adversity, Health is Wealth! BoingBoingBaggies 🙏
Mogga's back, he championed our club at every opportunity last time round. His passion, dignity & professionalism still shines through. Bravo Tony, welcome back to loving life & football. Onwards!
Tony Mowbray gave me the opportunity to celebrate winning a League Title, he also gave me the opportunity to see West Brom play at Wembley in an FA Cup Semi Final. I'm glad to see him back and healthy, I'm glad to hear him so full of energy and I can't wait to see what this journey brings us. Welcome Home Mogga.
What a good interview and verify emotional for Tony really glad he's been given the all clear with his battle.Best of luck in your new job.All supporters need to get behind Tony and the team 👍
I can't even describe how happy I am that the Gaffer is back. I get emotional listening to his modest and down-to-earth approach to the game. Welcome back, Tony. Full canvas!
Tony Mowbray. Wow. What a man. In an era of mega stars with whom we cannot relate, this man is different. It is an honour to have him at our club. He embodies all that is good. Simple values. Impossible not to connect with him. A family man returning to a family club. It was always meant to be.
You can see the excitement & passion bursting out of him as he talks, he's thrilled to have come out the other end of a traumatic year and be able to get back doing what he loves, at a club he loves. The Albion players will run through brick walls backwards for him, I'm sure
I'm really happy to see Mogga back... you have to love his passion for the game and his ideology for attacking football. What a championship team we had when he was with us first time around.
That day at Loftus Rd will always be in my memories, what a team we had back then . The fact we didn't give Super Kev a 2 year contract cost us the following year when we played teams of the park but couldnt score, I reckon Mogga will get the best out of this lot
the lengthy long answers that Mowbray gave just shows how much passion and love he has for football and how much he wants to do well. I look forward to see how we play under his football.
All the best Tony, you were only with us for a short time but thank you for what you did for us at Blues, good luck in getting West Brom back to the Prem, to us, you’ll always be blue KRO 💙
Absolutely chuffed he’s well. Blues wouldn’t have gone down if he hadn’t had this health issue. Every best wish to him and Mark Venus - such a great man, Baggies are lucky to have him. Only Mogga could get a Blues supporter looking out for Baggies results.
Great to see him back and well, loved by many of us that remember his first spell as manager, and great to see he remembers old staff that have been there for years
He's the man. Full of pashion and desire to succeed at The Brom. Corberan was full of passion but in my opinion whats happened will be a huge plus because his football was too negative and players were not allowed to push forward and get in the box. Strongly believe Corberan couldnt progress Albion any further. Really hoping Mowbray can take us that next step forward with players allowed more freedom. Boing boing.
Welcome back Tony, would love to see those good times back like our last promotion back to the big time!! COYB, UTA 🎉 your talk about making is more attack minded is brilliant!!
Welcome back Tony 👍. Congratulations on beating the big C and becoming our new gaffer. Even if we don’t go up this season the fans need to be patient and back you. All the very best ma mon Goo on Tony gie it sum omma ✌️
It just feels right having Tony back.. It would be nice to go up, but having such a great man to represent the club playing ambitious football will be a pleasure to watch every week regardless. I'm sure a few of the boys will be well suited to his ideas, welcome back💙🤍
Fantastic interview, we've got a head coach/manager, a proper football man, and a great human being he knows all about our great football club. I'm excited about the future for the Albion COYB
Welcome back Mogga I can’t wait. It must be unusual replacing a manager who left as opposed to sacked, he did some good work here. I hope you use what Carlos has built here as a solid foundation as defensively he set us up really well, the squad should know what they’re doing, just need that encouragement and freedom going forward
Nothing but total respect for Tony as a man and as a manager. I believe we as Albion fans will have some good times and attacking football under Tony. And I'll be right behind the manager and the boys to see it.
A lovely, lovely man. Because of work commitments, the 07/08 season was the only time I was able to have a season ticket. What a season it was. I’m delighted that he’s back.
2006/2007 WBA championships top scorers. 2007/2008 WBA in all competitions was English top scorers with over 100 goals. Tony Mowbrays / Ron Atkinson attacking football at WBA was the best I've seen here in my 46years watching WBA. Welcome back Tony Tony Mowbray, I'm a very happy supporter 💙🤍❤.
I really hope all goes well with Tony and the club, especially after the success we had 16 years ago, I'd hate to see some fans turn against him when all isn't going well ... COYB 💙 🤍 ✌️ 💯
Good Luck Tony! (And to Mark Venus) Sounds like your old self again. I’m excited to have you back at The Hawthorns, you have some unfinished business. My hopes for you are promotion in the next two seasons and then keeping us up. To build a team with a positive mentality as you describe that entertains the fans and wins matches. Happy days. Best wishes to you and your family.
Excited to have Tony back, I really hope he can recreate the magic he did before because he hasn't anywhere else really since he left, so our expectations shouldn't be too high. Just a slight note of caution therefore. We played some exciting football under Carlos at times and he won us a lot of games. It was Carlos's judgement as to how we played based on his assessment of our limitations. Watch Valencia and how they are playing. It's completely different to how we played because they have much better players. We must remember Carlos had no money to spend here and we'll never know what he could have done if he had. I'm fascinated how TM will take things forward and like with any other manager he'll be moved on and someone new will come in if it doesn't work out. What's reassuring is the fact we now have sound, sensible owners who have a long-term strategy and a proven track record for improving organisations. Hopefully when we look back in a few years Tony will have been an important part of our success.
Wish Uncle Tone all the best back at Albion, sad we never got to find out what might have been for him at blues, lovely bloke, enjoy the buffet and the revels tone! 💪 KRO
Feeling a bit more optimistic now after watching this. Wasn’t too sure about the appointment at first but i’m hopeful these current players can become as influential as the players he mentions…Brunt, Morrison, Gera, Greening, Koumas, Phillips a big ask, but hopefully Mogga can get them playing, and like he says, give them a free reign to go and attack.
I think Tony Mowbray will get the best out of Mikey Johnston and Tom Fellows and Grady Diangana and Karlan Grant and Jed Wallace and maybe John Swift Attacking Midfielder Isaac Price close to signing and a Striker next in Could see Harry Whitwell part of the squad Tony Mowbray was the Manager when I started watching Albion
Big a game Middlesbrough West Bromwich Albion January 21 on Tuesday next game West Bromwich Albion Portsmouth January 25 on Saturday from Leeburke good manager Tony Mowbray transfer window January 1 on Wednesday close transfer window February 3 on Monday from Leeburke
I'm a Blues fan, watching this, I'm so pleased Tony is healthy and back in football, couldn't be more pleased for him.
Brilliant news. He is a fantastic manager and a top top guy.
All the best, Tony Mowbray.
KRO 💙
Could not agree more, glad of the all clear more inportant than a game of football.
What a fantastic, courageous, and humble bloke he is. Welcome back, Tony. I am really looking forward to seeing us push on in a good time.
