For me it's my favorite, because I have a huge fondness for cecealia AKA octopus mermaid. =)
I feel like Nerissa should've had more powers than just growing into a kaiju and having the trident to absorb the Kraken's powers. Mermaids have: Siren Singing, Super Speed, water manipulation, immortality, invisibility, and so on. Ruby and her family shouldn't have been the only ones with lots of powers.

With how short and basic this movie was, I think it’s supposed to become a TV show. It was sorta like a superhero origin story to me.
