Great tour guys. I used to deliver around the city for a courier firm. It has so much to see and do. Love the cathedral and the St John’s museum. The butter market is very cool too. You captured it very well. Also the Hereford Gloucester canal is now being restored which is good and once connected the two cities for trade etc. great tour and info. Love the format and cinematic shots. Spot on guys. Very enjoyable watch. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶🏼♀️

Hereford and the whole county has so much to offer and I've only visited once. There are some real gems if you know where to look. Nice tour, and yes the cathedral is unbeatable architecturally.

Wow! What an amazing video! I'm locked in wonder pondering the library in chains and the history hidden for centuries within books that can only be viewed from a distance as their final resting place exists on a shelf, in a small room, in a library with extremely limited access.

Hi Alessa & Brett, thank you for a fascinating tour of Hereford. It's somewhere we've never visited. Loved all the history and greenery. The cathedral was magnificent. The library looked very intriguing. Would love to have a look around there. The Benedictine Abbey was amazingly beautiful ❤ The town centre was charming and the Butter Market looked wonderful. The interesting museum (loved the skeleton!) was set in a fabulous building. We need to put Hereford on our bucket list! 👍 This was so well done. Thank you! ❤❤

Just watched this on the big screen, great way to start our week! So beautifully put together showing Hereford in all its glory! Superb drone shots wow the engineering of that Bridge and beautiful Cathedral and we look forward to the walking tour next week! The Map of Monday is special and that locked library because books were rare this makes it more a shame books are fading from existence today! Oo a drinking water museum Nick says he’ll pass on that one he doesn’t do drinking water 😂 The Abbey on day too is picturesque with those stunning windows. Love the gifted bull statue and its relevance to the city. That old house 😮 £3.50 is very reasonable! Lovely to see a thriving market with excellent products. Thank you for showing us all Herefords hidden gems , history and attractions, we are not sure 48hrs is enough time! Loved the post box cover! Just fabulous guys really enjoyed this 👍❤️
Same here, born and bred in Hereford. Took everything you see for granted unfortunately. No mention of the old bridge or Gwynn street? Not enough time I suppose... anyway, moved away in my twenties, never looked back. I suppose the traffic hasn't got any better, still no bypass?

Excellent video! I remember reading about the battle of Hereford that took place in 760. Also, the YT channel History Marche did an excellent video on The War of the Roses you may like. Penyard Castle is near there
We stayed at a campsite outside Hereford last year and caught a bus into the City. We didn't find a lot of things that you did. The cathedral looks stunning as is the Mappa Mundi and that will be on our list. Amazing that part of the Magna Carta is there. Our boys did a project on water wheels so the museum would be very interesting to them. We are guilty of missing the hospital museum, the cider museum is on the list too. Thank you - we will be back there. 😍😎👬
Nice video. Sorry to be niggly but you first said the map was 800 years old and then 700.The other bit that seemed a bit odd was seeming to suggest that hops were used for cider making. If i miss understood then sorry. I enjoyed seeing the city and some of its highlights, thank you.

I did indeed you are right and partly I apologise for saying both 800 and 700, but the mappa mundi came about around the 1290s? Possibly earlier so in the middle really but I should have stuck with one! And I know it's weird but hops were and are used for cider, not just beer like we know, I believe after reading it in the cider museum, the hops were added for fruity/floral tastes apparently! I hope you can forgive me confusing you :) ! Have a great week ahead and thank you again for watching!

@ Traffic has undoubtedly worsened, although plans for the bypass have resurfaced.
