Wow! Im so impressed with mom and daughter, sharing their divorce experience. I relate a lot with their story and feel its gonna help a lot of women, who are in the same situation and are conflicted whether to leave or stay for the sake of the children. I did the same, chose my children and left, than to stay in a toxic environment.

The Day I learnt that I matter my life matters and No one has me except me is the day I learnt to always put myself 1st regardless. Am a single mum and never a single day did is ever blame myself for anything because I asked myself who cared for me. Who asked me if I was okay or not? Who asked me if I was happy or sad? Since that day I have shut down society's noise and unnecessary life pressure.
So, I worked on myself to give my best to my child and I would want to give my child the best version of me emotionally, Mentally and Finacially so far good am so happy. Co-parenting well

When Mama Lyd said "I could kiss him on the mouth😂😂😂" watched that thrice. However, very true. What is out there is grand compared to the peanuts you get in a toxic marriage. Also what I have noticed from toxic marriages is that there is usually the blessing (?) Of more and more children. Many women I know who stick to toxic marriages get 4-6 children. Happier marriages tend to have less number of children. You should discuss next time about family planning/celibacy after divorce because the next tragedy that can follow is more children when you're already on your own and in a make or break economic situation.
