@@Citanoo Yes. In technical terms, indeed was a great jump. Although, as a generality, I like the 2A03 NES soundchip better both for its sound and for the 80's compositions style too. You can compare Super Mario Bros. All-stars with their NES counterparts so you understand what I say. Even so this soundtrack is cool!!
@@elvisrobotbeta3299 Wow, I said the same thing about Super Mario Brothers 3 Ending versus the Mario Allstars Remix version. The original NES version was soooo much more heartfelt than the softer toned down remix ending in Mario Allstars. Glad I wasn't the only one who thought this. But this Cosmo Board on Gradius III is unrivaled and has its own special place in History!
This soundtrack it always reminds me of my childhood and also this is the reason why I love trees and foggy weather because I always think of cosmo plant 😌. I always Imagine what other planet's vegetation.
Honestly my favorite track in the entire game, this'll always be so many things to me. My favorite sh'mup, my favorite Konami game and one of my absolute all-time favorite games.
The one level my father was never able to beat because he always refused to take any speedups, saying it made the game too hard. (Without Speedups, the boss is nearly impossible to defeat) And even if he was able to defeat it without any speedups, he'd in for a treat in level 7 hahaha.
Love the segment where those grabby plants just explode from overstretching.
They actually explode because the roots go off-screen, lel
@@NeoArashi yeah i just noticed that when I played through it a couple of days ago since I just got a crt and the game looked and sounded great
love this soundtrack make my childhood awesome💛
The SNES library of games also gave us so many amazing soundtracks, such as this one.
@@Citanoo I’ve always loved the lo-Fi sound of the SNES.
One of the best OSTs from Gradius III, alongside Mechanical Base, finally extended 😎
I prefer the fire and easter stone worlds when it comes to music, but the plant world is a solid 3rd for me.
Anyone else doing headphones, feel the effect as the accompaniment goes in the left ear shifts to right and concludes in both?
Yup, even in my car
One of the few videogame tracks that I really love to listen in an endless loop🎼🎼🎼♥
so many good SNES soundtracks. The jump from NES to SNES in terms of audio was a big one for sure!

Another great sound from the 16-Bit Era.
this and "into the wind" are my favorite track and stage in this game..
Only the best generation will remember this one
Don't forget that there are also #SuperFamiCom players like me as well who played Gradius III.

to go through this level is one thing, but when you forget to add an extra speed for the boss, fuck me

It was level 7 that made me a believer in speedups. Lmao
@@esmooth919 Nowaday, I never start the game (or a new life, if I die) without using 2 speedups.
@@NeoArashi yes its
Standard operating procedure!
Even the organic plants are trying to eat you in this stage
This is either my favorite or second favorite track in the game. Level 9’s theme is the main one competing for the top spot in my head.
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
@@Citanoo you're so cool 😎!!!
Thank you for sharing.
No worries!
My new ringtone jejehe cool
There’s a part of this song that’s remixed into growlanser 1’s first town theme!
It be nice if only I could upload this Online to either my PS5 or XBox One,
I be playing this Non Stop cuz of them Awesome Childhood Memories
Not my favorite stage, but one of my top 5 favorite tracks in the game.
3rd place in both music and level for me.
My favorite stage and music
The boss is impossible without speed ups.
