I remember being very young and going to skating camp .I had freestyle figures (I know I’m old) and Ballet class was offered and off ice jumping .It was so great until the day I forgot my clothes for off ice and had to do doubles outside in the hot siun in skating tights the thick ones too
Oh goodness doubles in the summer sun sounds like no fun at all

Truly! "Off-season" is quite the misleading term as a lot of athlete's progress, growth and development happen during this period! There is so much hard work and labor put in during this time
great video :) is there a reason you’re doing the normal testing track vs the adult 21+ track?
Thank you so much!! And there is no certain reason! You can definitely do both and both will allow you to be eligible to compete at adult competitions! I wanted to challenge myself to do standard track because I believe the passing thresholds are a bit more stringent and difficult and because I am a masochist *lol jk* I just wanted to hold myself to a stricter standard by personal choice (:
Hi Cathy, would you ever do international adult competition? I know that there is the North American International Adult Competition that takes place every year. It’s held by Skate Canada this year. I think it’s a ISU event so you would have to be 28 to do it. It’s held in my home city this year so every adult in my club is competing this year (apart from me! Too young…)
I think she mentions that she's planning to compete internationally in the future at 1:15.
Haha me too! Too young (by a year lol) so I’m volunteering this year! Waiting for their schedule to come out 😅
In the same boat with the comments down above! I am planning on doing it for sure! I'm just actually hilariously "too young" at the moment as for ISU international sanctioned competitions, you have to be 28!
