American here. A typical AK-47 fires NATO rounds in 7.62 x 39. That means 7.62 is diameter, 39 is how long the casing is in mm

Happy days Wim, and congratulations on this video, I saw Leigh's post so he must have been pushing you do

Superb adventure and an amazing WW2 find, I watch the M1 Garand bayonet & electrolysis clean up, equally amazing.
I help out at as a volunteer at couple of museums in the UK, on the sites where the US bombers were based during WW2, my friend owns a deactivated M1 Garand made in 1942, no baynet though.
That dog was a superb swimmer, probably as mad as a hatter with tons of energy left after daily walks !

lolol the bikes are back lololol or did they ever stop stalking you all? lolol Magnet fishing turns into dog rescue lol Thankfully the owner was near lol. Guess the dog wanted to cool off lol. The knife looks like a cake knife where they decorate cakes with icing and other stuff like carving cakes or something. Seems as though there would be a cheaper way to get a thrill. I'm thinking about going to the Salt River here where a lot of floating on the water happens via inner tubes and kayaks and paddle boards and see what treasures are to be found. The mp40 has a similar mag thats straight, the mag you found is curved. The bullets inside indicate its a bigger round. It isnt a 9mm mp 40 mag. Google stg-44 magazine❤
