BELOW 30 | John Magiro generates electricity for his village

When he dropped out of school because his family could no longer afford the fees, John Magiro pitched tent at a nearby waterfall, harnessing any opportunities that came along with the raging waters of river Gondo in Murang’a County. And when he finally came out, the now 26-year-old had invented his own power source, lighting up not only his life but also those of his villagers. Here is victor Nzioka with the story.
