  • In this video we go back to a beautiful California Juniper styled two years ago. In this second step we analyze the evolution of the tree and we airlayer the base to short the tree and create a better nebari. The work is never over …. Only time and work will bring us to the perfect Bonsai

I have a juniper I just repotted it a few weeks ago. I was wondering if I should remove the bark on it because of bugs 🪳 burrowing into it and it getting close to winter. Expose the read bark with the dead wood do you think that would be a good idea?

Sir maybe you should leave the Left side alone and Make a Pad over the dead Wood like on the Ride side so it would made the Juniper shorter and more Pyramid Shape and Compact. But now it looks very Tall

It looks like you left a small line of bark were you removed the bark, also you didn't remove the life vain that goes inside the curve of the trunk? I would be surprised if it puts out roots when life vain is still partly intact around the base - how do you see this Mauro?

thats a risky decison, and you'll have to mist it like 10 times a day now...
