If you're adding sprouted beans, add it to the very end because they cook very fast. However, if you are substituting the mung beans with sprouted beans, it will not taste the same.
@kepani816, I know which one you're talking about and yes, they usually just dredge it in flour, cornstartch, salt, pepper or add a little bit of water or egg to make a batter then fry it. However, I don't think the fish is galunggong but something else and it is smaller than a galunggong. If i'm correct, it is called "Dilis", they have it fresh or dried. i hope this answers your question. thanks again for wonderful comment. :-)
thanks for the video! I'm not sure what ninjaZ problem is but i think this soup looks wonderful, not just in how healthy but also in presentation, especially with the bright bold colors of the vegetables (I love our Bok choy!) I do have a question/request - as a child, my mother used to make small fried fish dredged in flour mixed with pepper. Unfortunately, i did not pay enough attention to recall how they were made. The fish were always whole (i think galunggong)...do you know this recipe???

I would love to try this recipe. Can you make this with sprouted Mung beans? If so, how long do you cook the sprouted beans for?
