I am so excited for you to finish your book! I wish you all the best on that path. The dessert story so resonated. As the daughter of a pediatrician mom, we rarely had dessert and I used to give my kids dessert every day out of a reaction to that childhood lack - but also love. Nowadays, we have restricted dessert to Saturday evenings and it has once again become a treasured treat as opposed to a daily expectation. Thanks for sharing, Nida!
