The truth! I saw Mike at old LA Sports Arena vs Clips a few times and the electricity in the building was like nothing I have ever experienced. Closest thing was Tyson vs Spinks at Atlantic City.
This guy had a counter move for anything you threw at him. Never seen anything like that...past or present
I've always seen a LOT of similarities between Jordan and Pete Maravich. It's always seemed like Jordan took the best of Pete's game and refined it into high art.

Give me a break, these moves have been replicated over and over again, and at times surpassed, by derrick rose, vince carter, lebron james, russell westbrook, kyrie irving, zion, donovan mitchell, ja morant etc. etc. Even second rate guards like Oladipo can do most of this, who posterized Dwight Howard. What was once extremely rare athleticism and skill is now much more common today.
MJ needed to run the entire length of the court to take off from the free throw line during slam dunk contest. Lebron took off from the same spot in the middle of the game. There are college players today who have trained themselves to take off further out than MJ. The game has evolved.

Aerial artistry. Like we've never seen. When I loved this game cause it was fantastic! MJ at MSG was must see TV like Kobe to Shaq on NBC. His Airness aka Chupacabra - he who disemboweled GOATs.
I hate doing this, but Jordan has more highlights at MSG than Lebron has in every court combined :-P

What a beauty of a dunk at 0:24. The way MJ cups the ball and stuffs it with force makes for a very stylish dunk.
It absolutely amazes me that I have been watching that man play basketball since the 90's and there is STILL so many plays that he made that I haven't seen. You did a great job at finding a lot of clips that aren't as widely known as say the move he made on Starks and Oakley and then the dunk over Patrick. He is still the most stylistic and artistic player to ever play the game, hands down.

It looks like Ewing was thinking MJ would try to attack him directly and he was going to try and get a charge call. By the time he realized that's not the case, MJ already got the dunk and foul call.
Ewing had nightmares of Jordan and then Pippen through his career. First he couldn't beat Jordan in the playoffs then Pippen kept teabaggin him from 94 onward.

Driving the basket is an art that is reserved for only a select few, every 100 or so years...
Curry's long shots don't instill fear in foes like Jordan's dunks. Defenders, especially some of the greatest bigs all-time were petrified to be on vintage posters. Dunks get boring? You must be in dire need of hearing aids. Don't you hear the roar of the road crowd?
Jordan was the best without the dunks. Best two way player ever.
