- Here I’m sharing my nearly finished background for the RJOS Still Life project. My piece is approx 18” x 22”.
The fabrics I chose were ones I had on hand. I didn’t do any collaging of small fabric pieces, because I wanted to do a more subtle background. Hopeuly that’s not breakin any slow stitching rules. I also share a short video glance of the table that inspired the table in this little project, at the end.
No vintage linens were harmed in the making of this piece…🤷🏼♀️
Thank you for watching!
It's lovely. I love the muted background so the elements that will be added will not lost. Can't wait until you add the next prompt.

@ you shared some wonderful inspiration and I was able to make some fabric choices after watching your video 😊😊
Absolutely gorgeous. I love your choice of fabrics & the calmness of your work.
I love your project so far. Your fabrics are wonderful. Do you ever share the designer or fabric collection? I would love to see if I could find them for my use. You’re so creative and I always learn something.
@@janetmitri644 Thank you very much, Janet, for your kind comment! Yes, I often share who has designed a fabric that I’m showing. The table, vintage tin ceiling tile, and window fabrics are by McKenna Ryan. The line is called Vintage Farmhouse. The light robin’s egg blue floral fabric on the wall to the right of the window is by Three Sisters. I’m sorry that I don’t have the name for that particular fabric. I hope this helps. 🥰
@ Thank you.
