  • I had pulled this video when I decided to sell the bike but I had a few people email me requesting that I put it back on, so here it is! The Bike is now cruising the roads up in Canada and even though I was sad to see her go, I'm glad that someone is now able to ride and enjoy her like she deserves. I didn't build her to be a show-bike and never be used, I built her to look like a 1950's Cruiser and ride it every chance that I could! Too bad my old work injuries and 4 surgeries finally caught up with me and I was riding less and less. I sold it on eBay, half-hoping that it wouldn't sell, and it went to a really great Fireman up in Canada. I haven't heard a peep from him since he picked it up so he must really be riding the heck out of it! If anyone is interested in a set of Freedom Performance True-Dual exhaust for thier Road Star or Harley, I am an Authorized Dealer and will give you the best price anywhere. I use PayPal for your protection and I can be reached at aaaexhaust@hotmail.com. Email me for a price quote. Thier pipes can be seen on thier website: www.freedomperform.com. Thanks

Hey Ray ,thanks for the compliments on my v star 1100,they are great bikes, but man that is one beautiful roadie you got there. In my opinion the roadstar is one of the top three in the v-twin world. The Roadliner and the decked out Indian would be the other two for me.And you might be right about shaft drive being the way to go for many reasons, but I do prefer belt-drive...Happy new year.......Pete :)

@1100xv Thanks for the comments Pete, unfortunately, sold the bike last year because of a couple of pending surgeries that I was going to need and I didn't want that "temptation" in my garage while I recouped! But I've now had my surgeries and I'm "Feeling the Need for Speed" again! I'll be in the market for another bike again as soon as I'm 100% again!

Do you remember what kind of floor boards and forward controls you used?

Floorboards are Kuryakyn covers that just slip right over your stock ones, and there are no forward controls but I did get chrome aftermarket shifter rod, also from Kuryakyn I believe.

Wow, I hadn't watched this in about 3 years! Funny how thing change since I made this video, I'm about 10 years older, 125 lbs lighter, and my beards all white now, lol. One other thing, that was one sweet Road Star I had and watching this video just makes me miss it even more! What a dipshit, I should never have sold it.

Amazing bike. I'd love to get my ass in that seat. I'm looking at a 2002 roadstar. It's too clean for the year. Wish me luck holmes
