I've been super excited to talk about this collection ever since we started speculating that it might exist. Now that it's here, what do you think? Was it worth the wait? And do you think the developers did the game justice? Let me know
Is it worth buying? The only answer: YES
(shhh, don't spoil the ending now!!)
Not worth gets hella hella boring after ur done even with PVP AND PPL ARE SWEATY ASF FREAKS ONE TURN DELETE U LOL ONLY WORTH IF THIS DOES WELK AND WE GET BNW7 something new F THIS OLD SHIT
ITS SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!
Here is my honest and articulate answer to the question:
YES.
BUY THIS GAME.
I'm so hyped to play this collection. The nostalgia is real!
I replay these games so often just to get a taste of the best deckbuilding RPG out there even after all these years... knowing I'll finally be able to easily go online and have a few netbattles has just got me like 😱😱😱
Still can't decide which platform to main since there's no crossplay, though!!
It is but I'll wait for a sale, more excited for advance wars and Zelda 😊
I have not stopped being excited about the Advance Wars rereleases since day 1 of announcement oml
Well done!
Thanks for the video! I loved these games but I have only ever played the DS battle network games i'm buying this for sure!
Love the video!!
I'm probably going to grab it twice, once for my ps4 for streaming purposes( i don't have a fancy elgato capture card so I can't stream via switch) and the other for my switch because why not I never got to experience mmbn 5 or 6 so better now than never lol
I only played 3 and 4. I'm having fun starting from the beginning. BN1 is a bit hard to go back to. That internet map is confusing.
Just got my copies of vol.1 and Vol.2 worth every penny
Is it possible to turn off the background portraits? Wanna get this but those wallpapers are gonna be brutal on oled screens
You can change them but I havent found a way to turn them off D:
You need over 3600 hours and maximum brightness to even start causing a burn in on oled
Source: google. I can hold your hands and teach you how to google
the title is long, so scrolling through recommended, it ends with "Worth Buying? (NO..." lol
OOFFFF THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW! I should adjust that xD
Ignore what any negative comments people have about the HD resolution filter OFC it's not going to look prime if it's being played on a huge TV play this in handheld mode largest size or even large and medium it looks beautiful with those sharp edges smoothed out especially when your watching cut scenes and characters talk or even walking around in the game or being in battle. People want to crap on the filter but I'll be blatantly honest it looks nice being able to play these games again with a few bonuses that we didn't get before the HD filter is just another bonus since your sizing up your screen ratio.
I tried something similar with FFtactics advance. It made the game actually look better.
Absolutely agree. Started playing 5 minutes ago on my break. Looks gorgeous
I'm not a big fan! But I think it's not a bad filter and grew up with the games blown up on emulators as well, so I'm predisposed to enjoying the pixels anyway. It's a good option!
Currently im just working thru Megaman Zero/ZX collection cause of backlog clean up and i definitely agree the filter really shines on larger screens when you rather couch-play instead of going hand-held. Plus since we have the toggle option, one can always take that route when going into more portable type modes for that pixel-goodness.
Though im still bummed they didnt include operation shooting star, 4.5, battlechip challenge (heck even Network transmission) and MMBN5`s DS variation got skipped over, one can hope that fan hype might push them to add those as DLC later. Since outside of Starforce and Legends, they are kind of running out of Legacy collections to make, so them going the route could be a fantastic idea.
Cause seriously, i think many would not mind spending an extra 10 bucks for just 2 of those 4, maybe 15 or even 25 bucks altogether with how many additions they would provide.
Since you are ALREADY getting 6 games, with 4 alternate versions, plus alot of event exclusive content at about a value of 10 bucks per title (since why WOULD you only buy one volume only?), which is gonna revive the heck out of the competitive fun scene that MMBN`s likely still been rampant for years after its final entry.
I love me some MMBN but somewhere in my soul I can't justify the $60 price tag because I only want to run through 1 side of the dual versions.
Go out and try to buy actual physical copies of these games for under 60$ it can't be done.
@boostergold7431 yea it really can't be done. Especially since you need a Gameboy and and individual games.
People that say this shit just want to justify pirating the game. It's practically $6 per game included, which is still an impossible price back when it was released. I don't get your logic to not want to buy it...
Even playing only one side of all the dual versions it's six games for 60...like what more do you want out of this
Unfortunately I wake up super early today and visit 3 different Walmart stores in Puerto Rico and wasn't available even on their system appears as " Sold-Out " so I need to wait because even on Amazon is " Sold-Out " and I don't want the Legacy Collection on Digital.
I'm European so I'll have to import a physical copy when they become more available eventually!
I was never much of a Mega Man fan, but I might give the Battle Network series a go :o
You will *not* regret it
Yes! Unless you want to spend $300+ on the GBA cartridges.
where do i input the dlc codes?
Depending on the system, you enter them on the shop. (PS Store/E-Shop/Steam Store)
Just started playing the first game and im loving it
Eh. Wish they have cleaned up some of the grammar and typos that are so bad in English. They did not, its a direct port. But they are still fun and nostalgic.
I prefer the DS starforce games to battle network myself.
I’m willing to buy it twice! Any way I can help my favorite video game franchise!! Here’s to all future projects!!
Won't lie, I'll probably end up with it twice as well, since I enjoy replaying these games often and I'd like to do that from my bed, but I want to have netbattle save on PC as well :')
They sure know how to get my money >w>
I'd like to get it, but I'll probably hold out for a sale. I'd expect a slight discount during the next Steam Sale.
Cheap
Literally 10 games for 60…cheap
@@peformix-8454 3, 4, 5 and 6 all have alternate version give it up with that 10 games bullshit if they included star force it might have been worth 60 so just because your a fan boy who will pay Triple a prices for a GBA classic doesnt mean anyone else should be shamed for waiting for a sale. Poor shaming what a loser you are
@@peformix-8454 *6 GBA games; four of which are doing the Pokemon thing where they basically try to sell you the same game twice.
It's more like 10 per game, which while not bad is more than I'm willing to spend right now.
Apparently I didn't thoroughly finish Gregar, because I never got this Gregar Mega Chip...
Its an event chip, idiot
Pretty sure the cybeast chips were JP exclusive
Gregar & Falzar chips were JPN exclusive
Maybe... change the title lmao. It looked like it said "Is Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Worth Buying? (NO...". I got the wrong impression :v
Clickbaited ;) Nah I didn't realize that and that was not supposed to happen! It says "SPOILER-FREE" now, thank you for the note
No cross play is painful
I just want a legends collection
This shall be the next thing we claim to need!!
I've got 5 copies theconly answer is yes
This series kicked so much ass
I haven't pre ordered a copy because i find the bonuses unconvincing for me to pay 5 bucks. Don't get me wrong, this collection looks great and I'm interested in buying it.
I hope you were able to find it. I didn't pre-order and I had to search everywhere and wait to find a copy. They weren't carried at any retailers and the GameStops in my area supposedly only got them for pre-orders they called it "niech"
@@James-ep8bh I was able to find one a few days later, thankfully. I had to buy my copy online through gamestop. One store had a copy to sell and i bought it. They shipped it to me almost a week later and i got it for the Nintendo Switch.
I owj them all on gba lol
I'd rather buy them at a discount. Like 40$ for the whole package not $80 like it is on the switch
It costs 60
40$ each is if you buy individually, 60$ if you buy as a bundle
Nah its a scam 30€ vs 40€ i will wait few months
First!
MANS GO FAST!!
No mater were I go I always see those coments
Is it worth buying? Hundred percent yes.
60 dollars for a re release of 6 games that play almost identical and can be downloaded for 0 dollars in a split second... nah, big ol scam.
At first i thought they would ATLEAST give it a visual update, graphics and such, not too crazy but something, but no, i wont be investing AAA game prizes in re releases that are almost 20 years old. That is just abusing the consumer and a spat on the megaman franchise, whos fanbase has been dying for good NEW game releases for so long now.
Eat me capcom, eat me big time
People like you cried and wanted these games on modern consoles, and now we got them, yet you still complain? You should know how long each game is, since you played them, right? Capcom did a lot for this collection, which you can see from the website and trailers. Unless you want to buy the original GBA cartridge, which is expensive, these days, go ahead. Or you can play these via emulation like a fake fan. It's because of people like you that we don't get any new MegaMan games. There is no support for the official releases by Capcom. (Fan translations don't count) You all just emulate.
You can download almost anything for 0 dollars, even modern AAA titles, your point?
I'm personally of the belief that downloading games is okay if they're no longer available, but to support the IP if availability is being maintained. This is exactly that; legal availability being maintained on modern platforms without the need to invest in older hardware or heavens forbid downloading them for free which these companies so abhor.
Actual work went into these, with PvP exploits being patched and PvP supported to begin with. Each link feature is here and even maintained with matchmaking servers and everything - it's clear that a lot of love went into this collection and saying you don't agree with the price is fair and not something I will criticize, but saying that it shouldn't be purchased because you can download it for free... I could download a camrip of the mario movie right now, does that make going to see it a ripoff as well?
