    Crazy how many people think creativity exists in a vacuum. Originality doesn’t mean “first to do it”.
    You can have toast with grape or strawberry jelly. Both are toast with jelly. Both can be good. We don’t need to point out which jelly came first or which jelly is “ripping off” the other.
    You can enjoy the music, or don’t. Either option is fine. But why would you dislike strawberry jelly because grape came first? 😂

      1000% I’ve seen them live 3 times now and it’s been incredible every time. Studio recordings can’t capture the massive power in their sound.

      ⁠@@widexawake_dude this comment is old but I’m gonna reply because what’s freaking nuts is that back in like 2010 I saw BTBAM as the main headliner with Animals as Leaders (before Matt) as the co-headliner and Tesseract as the freaking opener. One of the funnest shows ever and no one really knew who they were at the time but that’s crazy they’re headlining now

      @@joecalabrese8979 I think the original Uncollective really highlights what I'm talking about. Its a rough mix but Its just so weird and hectic and still kinda stands alone. Almost a decade old at this point. You get a bit of It with Sikth and FellSilent.

      @@seanmatson1063 Nice! Have you heard the EP before with that other vocalist? Tess leveled up so hard with Dan and then with Ashe and then once again with Dan returning. Also, as much as it is iconic, Bleed is not that representative of Shuggah's sound, I would put Rational Gaze or Marrow as that and that's very much more like Tess. Deranged, dancy grooviness.       Except Periphery got it from Sikth, even they admit that. Go listen to their album “Death of a Dead Day” came out in 2006. The band formed in 1999. Periphery is great but they don’t stack up to Sikth or their other band Aliases.

    I can remember around 10 years ago a friend was dropping me off after work and wanted me to hear a song before I got out of the car. He played me Concealing Fate pt 1-3. Never liked a band so much on the first listen. And hearing that riff right there is a moment I’ll never forget.
