COMPONENTS - It's very black and white, but has a fun aesthetic in any case. The tiles do their job, and mine haven't scuffed yet (I have the retail version). 0:00 - Introduction 0:27 - Simple Cooperation 1:04 - Staying and Falling 1:45 - Team Movement 2:23 - Lighting Your Way 3:15 - Random Tile Draw 4:13 - Final Thoughts
Funnily enough, I played with it, and it certainly worked, BUT it makes set-up take even longer. So I think with my kids we will keep playing rules as written. A quick loss isn't a big deal, as long as we have fun ;)
Really wanted to love it but meh... It doesn't have anything good to offer it is just like any other game like this for example forbidden desert, mechanical beast and so much more Great theme and component meh game for me
Interesting comparisons. I haven't played Mechanical Beast, but I can see a few similarities to Forbidden Desert (though I think the two games feel very different in play).
@@OneStopCoopShop I answered and somehow UA-cam remove the comment what the hell? Anyway I said that there are other games like that for example Fire of eidilion, forbidden Island, sub Terra and some much more For me you play this genre once you know how to play them all just go grab something and go back to the start without dying 🤷 So to me I feels like an escape room game do it once great do it twice you already know the solution do it third time boring?
@@mabos555 not what I've found at all with this one, at least for my tastes. My family has played this at least 10 times so far, I've played games with game groups, and I've played a bunch solo, and I'm not bored yet :) But thanks for sharing your experience!
@@OneStopCoopShop Yeah I can agree with you on that :) Without randomness every game would be boring any way haha I can play a game from this genre I just need the freshness with new modes or new powers to keep it even more fresh every time, I don't think this game supply any modes or other variatry besides this luck of the draw :) which was also weirdly your number one complaint 😅 I think that Sub-terra just because of the expansions can fit this spot

Id like to see what you thought of the expansion
I saw it in the store and was curious about it, but I don't own the base game anymore!
Your house rule to go Pandemic style insertion is how the game should have been designed. It definitely cures the wildly swingy play.

Thanks look a light game for the Summer
Or for Halloween/dark winter nights ;)
Is this game worth it for pure solo play only?
No it for up to 4 players
Every Co-op game can be played solo or is well known :)
@@mabos555 so no good for pure solo?
I think it’s good for pure solo. Nice little puzzle of moving the prisoners around. Check out our playthrough video to see how it all plays out solo.
@@OneStopCoopShop thanks
