My favourite artist!!! I performed one of your songs "God Of Mercy" for a talent show on television in Italy, just my voice and bass, it was great for me to have sung such a beautiful emotional and deep song, especially in that contest! Can't thank you enough for inspiring me so much, love you Nneka!♥️

I see her soul more and more deteriorating. I also read the mentioned "A course in miracles" acim but those are delusions and illusions. Jesus Christ is the way. Jesus Christ is the truth. I hope she will repent if she is capable to and I pray that if her music is loaded up with curses and idolatry that it will not affect the listeners.
I think her soul is actually elevating and she is evolving into something that is not for everybody to understand but that she is proud of. She looks and sounds so inspired and she is experimenting new possibilities with her voice and her body. She is still being true to herself which is the most important thing for an artist. Her art is not here to satisfy anyone's expectations, but to express and inspire.

what is one to take away regarding Auto-Tune? it's clearly an effect, which, like Cher early in the Antares arc, didn't need, as these women have extraordinary vocal chops. So, i'm left wondering the gist… is it that we can't speak to the divinity within, without resorting to the artifice of technology? Said, many are distracted, deluded, evading their spiritual center by obsessing on pop culture, where AT is ubiquitous. Yet, even T-Pain has changed his ways, preferring the true vocal vehicle, over the pitch-constrained timbre twister that severe correction evinces. Please, clue us in to your intent. I love everything about the track (the ambience and stark contrast of the sidestick is epic!) but i'm left to ponder the machinification of a delivery i've just come to know and appreciate. Truth be told, Roger Waters' conversation with Marc Maron put this goddess on my radar, and as with David Byrne, or any creative that reconnects one to the rest (and, maybe the best?) of the musical world, because those of us melomaniacs that seek to foster new flavors for yr ear, relish the pungent spices of Africa _and_ the Diaspora. Fully forty years ago, i was core writer in a band that played reggae, ska, salsa, samba and more, in a SF Bay area climate that would soon christen the assortment of bands pursuing this visceral mix "World beat". Like "New Age" and "New Wave," an impermanent designation, describing a trend, not a lasting movement, as morphing and absorbing new and different influences was the genesis of the "genre" to begin with. Needn't ask what "style" of music Peter Gabriel, or Bjork, or Paul Simon, or Imogen Heap, or Frank Zappa represent - it's an amalgam, dynamic and all-inclusive, subject to the time period in which they were exploring, and how prepared we were to embrace excursions beyond clear-cut "bags.". Bowie, Eno and Fripp have perpetually gone out of their way to elude pigeonholing, and that is key to why we can't look away. When one lives and breathes music unadulterated and mercurial, every fresh creative voice, and/or community of makers, including those they bring along as "fans" or adherents, is a spark, a catalyst for taking the road less traveled, if not, in fact, the untrodden tangent.
