I was named after him and my family owned and operated a 1,000 acre ranch in the heart of Montana.

He was truly brilliant. I just did a short video on his work as he is a legend.

My gt grandmother was russels cleaner and caretaker .My parents were friends and students of Charlie R best student shorty shoppe.
Charlie gave my gt grandmother 15 drawings on a roll. Somehow someone thought they wernt worth anything so they got thrown away. I was told by my gt gram robey that Charlie when with the native americans would wear multiple layers of clothing and when one got dirty hed peel them off to the next layer.
