Excellent teaching! I recently taught the same concept and many people in my church were relieved to finally understand the true meaning of predestination. Thank you for taking a stand and making it clear Andrew.
Also consider this view: ua-cam.com/video/7jTf58y5ZKg/v-deo.html which is a different take: that we are predestined for the redemption of the body after we believe freely.
We became heirs of God. That same inheritance given to Abraham is the same inheritance we have received through Christ Jesus our Lord. We have received the fullness of God’s grace.
And draw means to drag or compel from irresistible superiority. That’s not free will if you’re being dragged and compelled. We have free will but not as free as Gods will. He is sovereign not man.
Brandon Chase, the elect. If he chose everyone, everyone would be saved. Our will is in bondage to sin, therefore, we don’t chose unless He draws and regenerates you. It’s nothing that you do or are going to do that merits this gift of grace from Him.
From what i read...God owes us nothing but death...for everyone. He choose 2 save some...who dont deserve it. He did kill a lot of ppl in the flood...and various instances in the bible. And saved a few....
The God who made us all, knew from all eternity where we would spend our eternity prior to even creating us. Now, the vast majority of us will spend eternity in hell, that is scriptural teaching. (matt. 7:13-22) Now I will concede the point, that men go to hell because they deserve it and choose it, but here is the kicker...God knew they would do that and with full knowledge created them anyway. Therefore by that creation He fated them to Eternal death. You cannot, cannot, cannot escape the doctrine of predestination on the grounds that this man has tried to. I am a pastor as well and my people are rejoicing in God's Electing Grace because it explains so much of who God is and why he works the way He has in the world! To be chosen by Grace is the only source of humility! To be Carried by Grace is the only source of true comfort in this passing world! And to be compelled by Grace is the only sure hope that the mission of the Church will not fail! Eliminate Sovereign election you eliminate any final ground for assurance, mission, and joy. here is an actual exposition of the relevant texts relating to Predestination: ua-cam.com/video/mKrw0bSgil4/v-deo.html
If he doesn’t believe in election and predestination than he’s a universalist. And we all know that not all are saved. If he wanted all to be saved, all would be saved, but they’re not. He’s God. He doesn’t believe in the sovereignty of God. He sovereign, not God. god didn’t pick people to go to hell. We chose that on our own because of our fallen nature. We are dead in sin. This ain’t complicated to understand.
When I prayed for wisdom and understanding of this doctrine it hit me like a wave. A light switch came on and I wept. I made me more humble to God. Made me want to please him more due to the fact that I did nothing and he still regenerated me by his grace. Absolutely amazing when you come to this realization. The Bible is so much clearer now with this understanding.

Predestination is not an idea but a written fact in the Bible. We as Christians must accept what is written in the Bible. The Bible also says believers will be caught up in ayer at the rapture of the church. The maths that lock all the words and sentences together prove it. IE., Genesis.1.1 "In the beginning created God the Heaven and the earth. The numeric value is 2701 that is 37x73 or 73x37. Jesus numeric code is 37. All correct translations have a perfect maths interlock.
Looks like I'm a couple years late to the party but what are you even meaning by 2701? To me it just looks like you pulled it out of thin air though there isn't really much to go on here from what's just written.

For who so ever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved_ .
Sir, please consider that Paul laid out periods of time that provides greater understanding in these verses. He speaks of Times Past, But Now and Ages to Come. We are told to rightly divide scripture Timothy, so that must mean that we need to be attentive to that instruction. We should not assume that this means to divide between Malachi and Matthew since that was done by men, not God. All Scripture is God Inspired, so All of scripture is for us, but as we see through scripture, it is not all to us. We don’t sacrifice goats, only eat certain foods, build arks, etc. Paul was sent to the Gentiles by Christ and Paul’s Epistle become the foundation and doctrine for the Gentiles (and for Jews in this new dispensation of Grace given by Christ to Paul). Please read and consider the following time periods that Paul mentions as an appropriate was to Rightly Divide the Word of Truth. “God is Truth and Everyman a liar”. Let scripture explain scripture. Genesis through Acts 8 = Times Past Acts 9 through Philemon = But Now Hebrews through Revelation = Ages to Come If you read it this way, you solve what appears to be conflict in scripture, but we know that there are no conflicts. Only men that fail to rightly decide scripture create these apparent conflicts. There is a reason James added works to salvation and Paul did not. Important to know who is speaking, who is the audience and what is the context. Paul wasn’t saved until Acts 9, so the majority of Matt, Mar, Luke and John we’re not preaching to Gentiles yet. James 1:1 is speaking to the 12 Tribes of Israel and Gentiles are not members of the Tribes. One example and there are many more. I submit as a brother that respects your teachings. I love your teachings!
Everything that this man is saying is a 100 percent true. Much more, there is even more explanation to what Paul is saying. The “fullness of the gentiles” is in the two sons of Joseph. All of the blessing belong to Joseph and his sons and the kingdom belongs to Judah. If you don’t recall, Joseph sons are “adopted” into family of Jacob.
Ok brother Andrew i love your ministry, I have been blessed by it. I can't grab this one tho. First off he addresses his audience. It's believers . 2nd your assertion that y'all all y'all is a general call to whosoever is not in the text. It's established that he is talking to believers. Also I would point to 1 Thessalonians were Paul talks about being thankful for their election. It's not Jews it's gentiles. Ephesians speaks in a personal tense not a corporate one. Also acts 13:48 says the gentiles heard this and were glad and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. The predestination and election doctrine is not limited to Ephesians and Romans it's not even close. Anyway still love your ministry but you have done nothing to persuade me to believe otherwise. I don't believe you are accurate on this one.
John 6:35-40 (NKJV): And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
“Even if they wanted to “ what you said is not correct - the scripture says that WE ARE ALL DEAD IN OUR TRESPASSES AND SINS. We would NEVER choose God on our own initiative!!! Study the Scriptures carefully.
Here is their equation: "Jesus offers" + "We accept" = "Transaction Complete!" Although they do not state it this way, this equation is what is actually being taught. They simply miss the fact the offer of eternal life is not a complete equation. They do not understand the offer comes with the EXPECTATION that we will live a faithful life. This is why they use terminology like "Just ACCEPT Jesus as your Savior." They see salvation strictly as a transaction. Therefore, in order to complete the equation/ transaction, according to what they teach, we must accept the offer. However, Jesus does not want your acceptance ... He wants your obedience.
The " us " is not Jews. The "us" is Paul + everyone identified. To the saints who are in Ephesus and who are faithful to Jesus Christ. Then in verse 12 the we could mean Jews but unlikely since even during Jesus ministry on earth Samaritans believed. However it's saying that we who first believed would be to the praise of his glory and then it says you also have believed in him. Meaning it's al to the praise of his glory. The Us is clearly paul+identified audience. The we is the first to believe, the you is all the audience in addition to and it all points back to the same thing . He predestined and called to the praise of his glory. It's not hard, it's really not. When you throw out synergistic presuppositions and simply interpret the bible in context, using knowledge if the author, audience, original language and, scripture to interpret scripture. How you would get that the text shows a separation between Jews and gentiles is beyond me. #1 considering the intended identified audience is gentiles mainly, #2 the only separation at all is to say those that first believed were to the glory of God and you a also who were not the first also believed to the glory of God. That is the correct interpretation of the text. Here you see the error of synergistic presuppositions. Totally twisted the whole thing with adding to the text something that is simply not there.
I think we know the will of God that is in John 6 verse 40, it says whosoever seeth the Son and believes in Him will be saved. not the elect who see the Son will be saved but everyone who sees the Son will be saved. according to this verse, it helps us to understand that those who are predestined is a group not individual according to the scripture because we know the God purpose its written in the Bible, we don't have any other God purpose., except if we want to create our own God purpose. (1 Timothy 2 verse 5). in other words, this is the plan God made before he created humans beings, God knew types of people who will enter heavens because the will/purpose of God says so. there is no other will/purpose that will contradict with the will that is in the bible. (2 Peter 3 verse 9 - 10). Luke said that they are appointed because they have received the Gospel not because they were forced to believe. e.g in Act 13 verse 46 Jews rejected the gospel not because God was not appointed them but they refuse themselves to accept the gospel. in other words, Luke used the word "appointed" based on their decision. e.g if I believe in Jesus Christ that means i am appointed to eternal life because I'm believing in Jesus Christ not because I'm forced to believe. (John 6 verse 40 & John 12 verse 32). Bible said that if we neglected so great salvation how will we escape from the wrath of God. (Hebrews 2).

If you want to know why some hear and believe and some dont, well the bible teaches and it's clear.

(Mark 13:27) 27“And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. (Romans 9:15-16) 15For He says to Moses, “I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I HAVE COMPASSION.” 16So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy. We are predestined by God to accept him and at the same time we use our free will to receive him. This can't be explained but this is truth. This guy tries to explain the mysteries of free will and election and it can NOT be explained he is making the same error as Calvinist. Next he is going to try and explain the Trinity. If you follow the ultimate conclusion on this thinking it would be universal salvation.
From what I've heard, he specifically going after individual selection, not the mystery about how God's sovereignty and man's choices have interplay. The doctrine of individual selection is not a mystery because it's false. God is drawing all people to himself yet people still have a choice to make of whether to heed the call. This doesn't deny that God has the ability to force people to be saved, but what it does deny is that God doesn't choose this line of thinking.

No one teaches the doctrine of regeneration apparently. Once this is understood, predestination and election make sense.
