Guiding Light "I need you, Joshua, and you need me." (Reuniting with Reva in spirit Pt 22)

Reva says she felt everything that Joshua did. They were meant to be together always. Josh thinks that she's treating a dream as though it were real. Reva says it was wonderful regardless of what it was and it can be that way forever. It doesn't get any better and Reva thinks the two of them should try to continue on together this way. Josh is skeptical. What would his life be like? He'd be committed to a mental hospital. Reva argues that it doesn't matter what people think as long as they are together. Josh points out that they are in two cosmically different worlds. Then he brings up a scenario of how it would be for Marah and Shayne which upsets Reva. Josh says this is not a good idea; she is asking him to stay in love with a woman that he can't share his life with. He wouldn't be able to tell anybody the truth. Josh sees it as a living hell; Reva sees it as something that would take some getting used to. Reva accuses Josh of blowing this out of proportion and being a doom-and-gloom-sayer. Her being here with Joshua would be keeping her alive for her children. She could live again through him for her children. Joshua finds this particularly moving. Reva continues that this can work if he wants it to. Josh admits he hasn't felt this way since she left. Reva says she's come so far and she's finally found her way back to Joshua. Nothing was going to stop her. How often does it happen to two people to have the chance to love again like this? According to Reva, they are no good apart, but when they're together, they can move heaven and earth. Now the only person who can stop them is Joshua. Enter Annie Dutton. Annie arrives at Cross Creek and wants to know what's going on. Reva's expression is not welcoming.
