Imagine u r filling a mug with water (that is inhaling ) and u are emptying the mug into a bucket (that is exhaling).. imagine this and start doing at ur own pace.. if u force pain will happen. Coz ur lungs are not full and u r forcing to push it.. so strain to ur lungs back everything.

You do it slowly. No need to worry about pain. It's an obvious cause

U can do Anulom Vilom and Bhastrika pranayam at any time. Kapalbhathi can be done on empty stomach only.
