So ghouls have two properties - they either attack what Yorick has E'd, or they attack whoever was attacking Yorick. In this case, they were attacking the rell under instructions from Yorick to attack "anything nearby", until the ezreal attacked me, which caused them to come to my aid and hit the ezreal instead lol.

E mark wore off and outside of mark they'll attack whoever is attacking Yorick. Rell didn't attack him once after the E mark ended, with Ezreal attacking him instead, so they just switched to Ezreal instead of killing the Rell. Ghoul AI is really stupid like that.
Mainly because when a champion attacks Yorick, the ghouls redirect to them. So in that scenario, their support hadn't attacked me for ages so they got the instruction to attack ezreal sadly.

3:50 I didn't notice this during stream, but your ghouls straight up de-aggro Rell so you can't get the kill.

Unfortunately ghouls are coded so that they attack whatever attacks yorick, and since ezreal hit me, they attacked him.
